Well guys, apparently it's up to us! We have to constantly bombard WWE with requests at FanServices@wwe.com
I need my collection to include this lot:
Barefoot Jimmy Snuka in trunks. Heel Adam Bomb, face Adam Bomb in blue and KroniK Bryan Clark. Maybe some form of Wrath too. Classic all red Ahmed Johnson. King Kong Bundy with molded singlet. Late 80's face Ken Patera. Sabu, preferably in yellow/gold. Repo Man with or without jacket, but either way with a tow rope. Bill Eadie as Super Machine to partner with Andre's Giant Machine character. We need the Killer Bees with removable masks. I would love Jim Powers and Paul Roma as the Young Stallions. The Beverley Brothers with capes. Any version of La Resistance. The Franchise Shane Douglas in trunks or tights. I'll take a Dean Douglas while they're at it. Muhammad Hassan in his SvR 2006 attire. The Godwinns in yellow/res and also heels with no shirts. Balls Mahoney. Marty Jannetty to match RetroFest Shawn and also his '93 Intercontinental title win attire. Singles heel Heidenreich pre-LOD. The Barbarian with antlers hat and cape. Perry Saturn in either red or neon green trunks. Flash Funk, but would prefer an ECW Too Cold Scorpio Mantaur with his ridiculous bull helmet/mask thing. Heel Slick with cane. One Man Gang with removable vest and chain. Bolsheviks Boris Zhukov to go with Nikolai.
Think of what you need for your collections and let them know!!!!!!

Snuka wasnt convicted of murder so i think he falls into the same group as everyone else with a shady past. If wwe thinks they can make money off him then they will

It's the public perception too. Convicted or not his inclusion could bring unwanted attention. The court of public opinion could cause more grief than it's worth (to them). Also, I'll be seriously pissed if this write-in campaign gets us 4 versions of Bryan Clarke and still no new WWE Champion Eddie Guerrero.

The ECW guys are definite wants with Shane and Sabu being my most wanted and the most realistic of the group. Would love Ahmed, the Godwinns, and Bomb because bring on the New Gen. Those are largely my wants outside of barefoot Snuka, which I don't think will happen. As much as I want guys like Balls, Axl, Saturn, and 2 Cold, I think those are way down on the priority list for WWE and Mattel. So like never going to happen.
Would be nice to see LOD and Demolition back under deals.
Jeff Jarrett and Kidman work for WWE and they don't seem to have Legends deals. Hurricane gets a job with WWE and we get him on a Legends deal right away. So I can't say I understand how any of this works and I wish Ryder and Hawkins could interview Steve one week, or maybe Sam Roberts could interview Bill again and try and pull it out of him. Any kind of clarity would be helpful. Maybe explain to me again how Brian Adams was signed and we never got a Kona Crush.

Flash Funk was one of my favorite BCA figures and I would love to see Mattel do that one in elite form.

I'm sure there's been an update but the last I heard Jarrett was involved in a lawsuit to get his name and likeness back from Impact.

I thought Jarrett was suing Impact but I didn't realize that was still going on. Maybe that explains the situation, though.

I'd love Los Guerreros in green and World Champ Eddie in black or purple. Eddie's last couple of years really opened my eyes as to how naturally entertaining he was. Everything he did was gold.

Maybe explain to me again how Brian Adams was signed and we never got a Kona Crush. I think the story was that they had signed guys to individual deals around the start of the line (I believe Bruno, Bret Hart, Adams, Martel, and others were under Mattel-direct deals). The Legends line got cancelled and they shelved any plans to use the guys under individual contracts. Then they started incorporating legends into the main Elite line right as many of those contracts were expiring, so they were rushing to fit guys into the line. Basically sounded like Corporate Bad Decision Making 101. Some higher up cans the Legends line because sales were lower than expected, and plans for all retired guys grind to a half. Then they realize they have all these contracts that are a sunk cost that is about to expire, and that could be making them money, rush the guys into the line, and probably end up leaving money on the table a second time. Those factors were probably well over Bill's head, but looking back I think it's pretty clear that they missed some significant opportunities during that period.

I think this is what Scott Steiner was kind of talking about, the money isn't great or bad but you are exclusive to them so it doesn't allow you to work elsewhere - when you're not making appearances for the WWE - to make more money. I think more wrestlers would sign the deal if it did one of two things; paid more for making them exclusive to the WWE, or paid the same but allowed them to make appearances elsewhere when not making appearances for the WWE. Yes and no. Legends deals give WWE exclusive global marketing rights. They could still appear for other promotions signing autos or working a match, but would be blocked from selling their own merch, such as through PWT. Guys like Steiner or the RnR Express that are still doing active dates probably make a good chunk of their income from those merch at those shows (and your guess is as good as mine how accurate their tax reporting is on those sales) and online. They're selling far less merch than WWE, but also keeping a much, much higher cut. Legends deals pay a 10k advance for a 6 year contract, and all merch sales (toys, video games, trading cards, etc) are paid at a set percentage against that advance. And I believe they get a flat rate ($500?) per appearance at WWE events such as Axcess. Guys with a ton of merch probably make decent money doing little to no work. But my guess is most guys don't see much beyond that initial advance. Top guys have deals that are probably different, but the 6yr/10k advance seems standard for everyone else. For an estate or someone totally done with the business it's an easy payday. But for most guys who are still semi-active it would probably actually end up costing them income. It also seems dependent on the stature of the guy. Hart, Austin, Michaels, Nash, Hall, and some others have PWTees stores and official WWE merchandise/shirts/etc. at the same time. Obviously tend to be the bigger names. A bunch of NXT guys also still have their PWTees stores open under their full names. Just bought a Gargano shirt from there a week ago.

Unfortunately Road Warrior Animal was on there, I really want a later 90s elite LOS set, the Chicago Street fight would make such cool figures.

Id love a 1997 LOD too.
Shane Douglas & the Powers Of Pain would be great too. Id buy Kronik if they were released as well because I'm a tag team junkie.

The Grand Jury said they were going to reopen the case, but because of the severity of his cancer the trial never went forward. So whether he did it or not he was never actually convicted of murder. From the list these are the only ones I would by if released... Road Warrior Animal Jimmy Snuka Paul Orndorff Dave Hebner Earl Hebner King Kong Bundy Ken Patera Sabu Smash Ax Bezerker Jumpin’ Jim Brunzell Jim Powers Mike Enos Butch Reed Shane Douglas Marty Jannetty The Warlord The Barbarian Saturn Slick One Man Gang Outlaw Ron Bass

Just thinking....Id probably buy LOD 2000 as well....Mattel would likely do a better job than Jakks attempts at the set. Sh*t attempt at reinventing LOD by Vince...BUT? they make great figures with the helmets and all.

I was not a fan of the LOD 2000 look. Animal in shorts wasn’t a good look.
