Cain walking in and getting a WWE title shot just mirrors WCW's faults when Arquette walked in and became champion. I'm not a fan of this storyline at all, but there is a big difference as at least Cain Velasquez is a legitimate, credible athlete. However, it is never a good thing when your company is drawing comparisons to the dying days of WCW. I agree. However, Cain isn't in the best shape now. So, a casual fan with zero knowledge of his UFC history would see a big ogre coming out of no where to fight Lesnar. Visually, it looks like a large fan is fighting your world champion. I hate the direction WWE is heading in. NXT has the proper formula.

I’m sure Lesnar is coming out on top anyways. What I do wanna see is Lesnar vs Rey for the WWE Title. But seeing as how Rey got drafted to Raw, that ain't happening unless Mysterio wins the Rumble or they keep up the "trade" element between brands... Yeah that’s the one thing stopping it lol. It makes sense for Rey to go to SD since he’s Cains mouthpiece plus he’s always been a SD guy anyways.

I know he can still kill people with his hands, but have to admit his current physique is pretty terrible.

Look at pics of his UFC career: he looks pretty much the same over the years. He's known for his cardio, and not concentrating on muscle definition. Many UFC fighters are like this. I'm guessing that he's following the regiment that got him where he is, and I don't expect him to show up at any point looking like Brock.

I don't see his look as a problem at all. He's already got credibility, so the only real question now is can he work an American style. We just watched two small guys main event WrestleMania, so the idea that a guy needs to be Mr. Olympia-worthy doesn't hold up to scrutiny.

If Cain wins and takes the WWE title then I'll quit supporting WWE. I hope Lesnar plants his ass with F-5.

I'm seeing reports that say Cain is on the verge of knee surgery and possibly out for an extended period of time. Was WWE unaware of his knee injury when they signed him? It doesn't appear to have been a recent incident, or so it's being reported.

It's been speculated that this was the treason for their lackluster, shirt match in Saudi Arabia.

Just boycott it, if you tune in and watch it then WWE will just do it again.
