Smoky Mountain Wrestling never gets any love it seems. Maybe because a lot of people never watched it, but I did when I was a teenager and I loved it!
Anyone else watch SMW back in the early 90s?? If so, what are your favourite memories??
The Rock n Roll Express vs. Heavenly Bodies feud was great of course. As well as the Dirty White Boy becoming a Northerner and showing his love for New York in a feud with Tracy Smothers. The debut of Tammy Fytch, who would later become Sunny. The Robert Gibson heel turn. So many good memories there.

ron wright, who of course has a respectable wrestling career as a major heel during his heyday, is one of my favourite managers. the classic arc of him faking being wheelchair dependent to eventually use it to him and dirty white boy's advantage was just a lot of fun.
i didn't watch it while it aired but i did run through it a few years ago.

I enjoyed SMW as it reminded me of classic 80s NWA.Bob Caudle and Dutch Mantel were an underrated announce team in my book. Shame this company didn't have a longer run.
The Network is long overdue BTW to add more episodes.

Smokey Mountain didn't air over here IIRC....I know GWF replaced USWA on our Eurosport's channel but I don't think Smokey aired over here at all.
I've watched plenty of it over the years though....good stuff.

I didn't watch smw when it aired, but have seen lots of footage. As you can imagine, I loved it.
