I'd vote for Drew to win, dude needs to be pushed and take out Lesnar.
Don't give a crap about the women's division, probably a returning Nia Jax will win.

I hope they go the 2004 route with Brock/Cain. Brock costs Cain the Rumble and Cain costs Brock his title at the next PPV and they can have their rubber match non-title. It's a feud that never needed any championship, and certainly didn't need Rey Mysterio.
Hopefully the eventual match is better than Goldberg/Lesnar though...

These are my top guesses
1. Drew McIntyre - Could return at the Rumble and win it, or ride a return momentum into winning it. 2. Aleister Black - He's gonna be HUGE on Raw, a Rumble win would be great, Black vs Fiend maybe 3. Cain Velasquez - God i hope he doesn't win it, but i'm sure he's already in WWE's discussions to win it. Like ^^^ said, if he is in it, hope they go the 2004 route. 4. Kevin Owens - Could be a way to kick off his Main Event push on Raw, as one of (maybe even) the top star, since fans are turning on Rollins.
And the interesting choice that i can believably see happening...
5. Edge - All the rumours and reports that Edge is medically cleared, i can see them holding it off and keeping it a very tight kept secret until the Rumble, where he'd return to an INSANE reaction and win. That way he can have a proper retirement match at WrestleMania against either Champion.
I'm all for Edge, Drew or Black winning it.

There are a lot of possibilities right now. I guess we can eliminate some from the conversation once we get through Survivor Series and one or a few part timer matches are already set in stone.

They're kinda failing to build either guy up for it currently though.

I knew this was gonna be a tg11 thread. I'd say Rollins, McIntyre or maybe even for the wildest surprise entrants it could be Punk or Edge. If either of them wanted to come in and win it I'm sure WWE would be all over it.

Becky keeps the title until Mania. Ronda returns and wins the Rumble. We get Ronda vs Becky 1-on-1, a full year after when it should have happened. I'll take it.

Also, if they can get back on terms with punk to work again, and give him his wrestlemania main event (and it ACTUALLY be the last match on the card to go on) I could see that being a route. The pop he would get if he came out at 30 and the music scratch and cult of personality hits. Roof might actually come off of the building, especially if they book it in a strong wrestling city.

Da big dawg. Genuinely, I'd love to see Reigns back in the main event again.

McIntyre, Bryan, and Reigns seem like early favorites for the men.
I could definitely see Ronda winning for the Women's if her digit's back working. If not, chalk it up to Charlotte if she's not in the midst of another title reign during this time. It would be cool to see Baszler rebound from a potential title loss by winning the Rumble too.

Hopefully they start building Drew up next week. Give him some big wins over the next few months. Then by January have him win the RR. Him vs Rollins could be a good WM main event.
I'd love for it to be Asuka again, so she could face Becky. And I know Nia has a story already waiting for her vs Becky. But I wouldn't be surprised if Ronda wins it. Then we can finally get the one on one match up between her and Becky.

Tye Dillinger returns, enters at number 10, eliminates 10 guys, and celebrates his win in the ring for 10 minutes.

Sasha Banks ought to have a good chance to win the women’s match as long as she isn’t the champion. If Rousey is gonna come back then I’d have to give her big consideration as well.
The men, sh*t I really don’t know. I could say some guys who I WANT to win, but realistically they probably have no shot. Reigns is always a candidate, and I’m sure WWE would just love to go down the Lesnar/Reigns road again. Daniel Bryan? Idk. Styles? I would love to see him back in the main event scene, but who knows if that’ll happen any time soon.
