Hit 2 Walmarts in southern Indiana tonight, and neither had any Elites. One of them didn't have any Basics, either.
I think that makes 8 different stores I've hit in a 50 mile radius, over 5 days, that didn't have any Elites.

I'm in central Indiana and I've been to 6 WalMarts in the past week that had no Elites (except for one store that still had E68 Bryan and Mabel). Going pretty far out of my way to some stores too.

I had to run out of town on Monday and stopped at a couple of WalMarts. Neither one had any elites at all. Same as the 2 stores within 10 miles of my house. One of the stores in my town doesnt even have space for elite.
The other WalMart has had one elite for 4 months. I work there, and have tried to order more on multiple occasions, but the order just gets blocked after a day or two by the higher ups.
We get cases of Mattel's other products just about every night. Why aren't elites coming in? Even basics come in fairly often.

If I collected Balor, AJ, Rollins or Nakamura I'd be a happy man

My local Walmart has relegated elites to the bottom shelf (the 3 Summerslam Bellas they've had for months) but the pegs are full of random basics ranging form 97-101

Went to another Walmart. Elite 74, but case didn't have Anvil again. So 2 stores with 2x AJ and 2x Balor. However, both Lance Dorado's were chases... I guess that's better...

Ran in one of my Wal-Marts on its second E74 case because of two Natties, along with 2 Finns and AJ's, one each of Goldberg and Andrade.
Basic 104 as well but didn't bother getting anything.

Tonight's stop: New Castle, Delaware! YES folks - this is the site of the famous "Flair Forever's Walmart Wars" from a few years ago..... several board members condemned me for tracking this Walmart's poor stocking practices, stating that I had no life, was unemployed, was crazy, etc...…. However, I think many will agree I was way ahead of my time on this - as the problems that I was really TICKED about back then are now national problems that EVERYONE is experiencing! So - I guess THIS Walmart was way ahead of the curve - they pioneered the policy of "STOCK AS FEW WWE TOYS AS POSSIBLE"...… However, they must have gotten word from their Middletown co-workers that Flair Forever was back on Toy-Patrol - as they seemed a BIT more prepared than in the past (but still not THAT great)…….. So, some Basics - probably 2-3 cases worth...…. No Elites, but hey, at least it's SOMETHING...… Wait..... what's this...….. over here in the middle of the aisle? Well I'll be damned...… the box on the outside says "Basics"...…. I'm surprised they got MORE Basics in - when they already had some on the shelf. But under the other boxes (basically in the middle of the pallet)…… was a box that said "WWE ELITES"...… What to do, what to do? Morally speaking - what DO you all do? Are we allowed to open the boxes that are stacked on the pallets? I kind of looked around for an employee - I would have asked them if I could open the box...… but I got tired of waiting and just said "SCREW IT"...…. I took a few boxes off the top & cracked that baby open myself! I mean - what's the worst they could do to me - throw me out? I grew excited as I saw "ELITE 74" when I busted the case open..... Aaaanndd……………… No Anvil. No Anvil, just the rest of the set, but No Anvil...…. I'm not that broken up, I didn't like Anvil that much anyway...… I guess I would have bought it though, hell - maybe I could have traded it for a different exclusive that I couldn't find...… And I did buy the only Goldberg in the box, because - well, I'm a fan of Legends...… Hoping to follow up with the Middletown Walmart tomorrow night or this weekend - to see if anyone bothered to follow up on my complaint...…. BUT - the New Castle Walmart (finally) won't get a complaint from me - THIS TIME! Maybe they got tired of me complaining...… LOL. Just work on getting those pallets off the floor and the product on the shelf, guys! But overall - this is an improvement......

Most are stuffed with 4 to 6 AJ and the same amount of Balor. Everyone else long gone. May be a while before new ones show up.

Oooh, spooky disappearing posts.
Some of you have never suffered in a dead end retail environment, and it shows. Wal-Mart, in particular, is a miserable, unforgiving experience, and that's without overzealous, internet edgelords hassling you over a lack of WWE action figures. Every time someone finds themselves embroiled in the depths of tHe CuStOmEr Is aLwAyS rIgHt, they almost inevitably lose complete sight of the fact that the people they're putting through the ringer are actual, real life people, most of them just doing what they need to in order to barely get by. Long winded, repeat posts breaking down the minutae of every last shortcoming of one's local Wal-Mart, replete with visual aids meant to demean and diminish the efforts of employees (of whose day you're only seeing a microsm of a microsm) make it next to impossible to see you as the victim in the two sided scenario when your lone "struggle" is the inability to obtain a $20 action figure that 40% of you wouldn't even be hard up after if it didn't say Collector's Edition on it.
God, some of the posts here remind me just how bad working in these places really was.

When it comes to stocking WWE figures - I believe Walmart - as a company - and it's management teams - could do a much better job. I'm not sure where else I should go to voice this frustration - and I'm not alone in this frustration - many are reporting similar experiences. This seems like the best place to have these discussions, no? I do remember days when it was pretty unacceptable for (any) product shelves to be empty/bare unstocked & unkept for any period of time - often these shelves are unstocked & unkept for days/weeks/MONTHS at a time..... nothing wrong with shining a spotlight on it. So no need to attack me personally, Walmart's shelves are a public display - the company and the staff should take pride in their stores - do you think Walmart management wants their shelves looking like many of the pics posted on this forum? How else can we expect things to improve - unless we address them?

How else can we expect things to improve - unless we address them? Yes, Wal-Mart falls significantly short in regard to its overall inventory and presentation management. It also follows a business model unlike any of its competitors year-round. Stores that aren't open 24/7 are often open from either 6a to 12a or 7a to 11p. There's a marked, specific reason that stores that extend business hours to those lengths during the holiday season look the way the average Wal-Mart store does on any given Thursday during the month of March. Maintaining the type of order you're looking for, in a store that does the business the average Wal-Mart store does, with the staff the average Wal-Mart has at its disposal, in a department as frequently ravaged by the likes of small children with no sense of personal boundaries (who, remember, are the actual target demographic) as the Toy Department is an effort in complete futility. Staffing turnover at Wal-Mart happens more frequently than some users here change their underwear. Good retail employees - the ones that do take pride in their work? They don't stick around in sh*t jobs like Wal-Mart that treat them in equal measure to the warm bodies shuffling in to collect a paycheck. Wal-Mart has developed a model that works for its ends - low wage, low benefit workers performing interchangeably low-skill jobs that allow prices to fall relatively beneath the market average, driving increased, repeat business that allows the Walton family, et al, to maximize profits. I get it - it sucks going in to a store to try and sate your hobby's appetite and coming up short, but that feeling completely, unequivocally pales in comparison to a day in, day out life of enduring the likes of folks determined to come at you over things well beyond your control because they've been inconvenienced and feel entitled enough to make someone else suffer because they felt slighted. It's kind of funny how, in the same breath as chiding me for "attacking you personally", you excuse similar behavior on your part because Wal-Mart's shelves are a "public display". I'm not sure what you think all these posts across social media are in turn, but they aren't exactly private exchanges between you and your local store. Maybe being on the receiving end of behavioral criticism ain't so hot. Treat people like people.

After stopping at 3 Walmart's yesterday and finding one case of Elite 74 without Jim Neidhart and two AJ STyles at every single one of them, I had one more stop to make and it was to my local Walmart down the street that had their boxes out yesterday but hadn't stocked them yet. I go to the toy aisle and first thing I see is a fresh new case of Elite 74 stocked and I see 2 STyles and no Neidhart. So that is 4 cases this week I've seen with no Neidhart in them. Then I noticed a Seth ROllins Elite in his Blue and Orange Chicago Bears gear and realized that they also stocked a case of Elite 75!. So I grabbed Pete Dunne and I may go back and grab the Hurricane since my Jakks Hurricane doesn't really look all that great.
Thank God I'm not a MIB collector though because the Pete Dunne Box was beaten to hell. I'm just glad the figure survived the beating.
