I didn’t see Sherri as a wrestler much so though I did see her working with Savage, Dibiase, Shawn etc... and thought she was great, I know what everyone's favourite pairing but for me, it’s macho king and the million dollar man

Sherri managing Buddy Rose and Doug Somers needs to get some huge love too. The three of them gelled perfectly in the AWA.
Sherri as Queen Sherri with Macho King was a perfect fit.
Her managing DiBiase for 9 months wasn't that bad either, since it played off she loved money.
Managing Shawn Michaels I didn't care for. The only thing great that came out of that was his theme song, and the fact Jannetty smashed Sherri with the mirror.
Sherri managing Marty Jannetty and Tatanka in their matches with Shawn Michaels was kind of forced and lame.
Sherri managing Shane Douglas in ECW in 1993 was really well done. They worked well together.
Managing Ric Flair in WCW in 1994 just didn't seem natural. I didn't care for that.
Her managing Harlem Heat was perfect in some way. It just worked. She suited being their manager, and the chemistry they all had together was great.

I freaking hated Sherri as a kid, but I mean that in the most complimentary way possible. She was awesome in her role and my favorite thing she did was when she was with Macho King Randy Savage, especially when he was feuding with the Warrior.

I thought it was a great storyline when she turned on Sting to join Ric Flair.

Best partnership was with Macho King. When she turned face after getting smashed with a mirror by Marty Jannetty, it marked the end of the road for her in the WWF but being in WCW with Harlem Heat brought new life to her career.

She was great with everyone she worked with. But If I had to pick one it would be with Harlem Heat.

#1 is being Queen Sherri with the Macho King. Everything else after Dibiase was "meh". man oh man She was EXCELLENT as Queen Sherri.

Glad to see her AWA run with Rose and Somers get a nod. IMO she was great with everybody they put her with. Didn't care for that brief babyface run in 93 though.
But hands down my favorite was when she was with Macho King. She was gold in the Queen role.

She was a great entertainer. I saw a little bit of her in Vickie Guerrero.

I also think that Sherri doesn't get enough credit for her roles during the late 80s and early 90s.
Since women's wrestling in the WWF was more about being a valet than performing in the ring back then, most of the spotlight was on Elizabeth. Then, you had the whole Divas boom in the late 90s with Sable and Sunny where it was all about sex appeal and little else as opposed to today where the focus is primarily on the women's wrestling abilities.
Sherri was a great blend of all of these eras. She was a fantastic manager and a great in-ring performer as well as easy on the eyes. A total package of sorts who deserves all the praise she gets.

Amen to all of this. Sherri Martel just doesn't get enough credit and love for what she did. Not only she was ahead of her time but is a one-of-a-kind act. Still hurts she is no longer with us. |

What was sherris finisher? On her elite figure it says sleeperhold but I've never seen her use it lol
