Why do so many elites only list “interchangeable hands” as being included? Even Sonya lists interchangeable hands... It was the new news for the year so that was the call out on packaging. Sonya listing them was an error and was changed as a running change.

It didn’t get any further than some hypothetical lineups. Thanks for the reply; so when the decision is made for the line to return then we’re looking at a similar production schedule (a year I think?) to get the new waves together? There’s not really anything that can be picked-up and completed in a quicker timeframe? The production timeline would remain the same as always. Even if work had been done, it’d probably still remain roughly the same.

Would you guys ever consider revisiting D-Lo Brown ? I’d love to see a 2000-01 era with shorter singlet legs or any versions of him

No one is really off the table for revisiting unless they’re not available to us. Even with that, people come back into the fold at times. If it’s a meaningful look and there seems to be interest from collectors we can totally explore including them in the line once again.

When you have the license to a guy and not knowing for how long you’ll have said license, why not go ahead and knock-out like their top 2-3 known attires? Like y’all have done with Typhoon and Mabel?

They don't do that because it would flood the market with one wrestler and the sales would be significantly lower than releasing them over time. Eg, if you have $30 to spend on figures a month, and they release three Scott Steiner figures at $20 each, you would only be able to purchase one, right? If they drip feed them to you over a couple of years, you will be able to prioritize buying all three. It's also good for your wallet, muchacho.

Can you even imagine?

Didn’t mean release the same figure in the same set or a few weeks from one another. Like I was saying, like they did with shockmaster/typhoon. You have exclusives you could release the other in

AFA, How did you wind up in this industry? Was it something you went to school for or did it happen by chance? Would you have any advice for people who want to pursue a career in the toy industry? I'm interested in marketing and design but I can't decide which avenue to pursue. I briefly went over this in a previous post so give it a quick search. Definitely wasn’t by chance. I went to school with this career in mind. Go down the road of whatever interest you the most. The two jobs are very different as marketing runs the business side of things and design handles executing the creation of the individual figs, toys and playsets. Go to school for it, intern if you can, network whenever possible and don’t give up if it’s what you really want. If you go down the marketing path, pursue an MBA degree. If you’d rather pursue design, go to a school like Otis or FIT and enroll in their toy design program. Thanks for taking the time to share this, I appreciate it!

Is Wrestlemania Axxess the next time we’ll see reveals? We’ll reveal some images here and there like we usually do. Elite 75 images should be coming pretty soon. We also have NYTF coming up.

Hi Steve, I was just wondering if we might see some flashback elite 2-packs in the future?
If we ever got the British Bulldogs - it’s be amazing to get them in a pack together.
Also, I’d love it if the upcoming Rude would come with the corresponding Warrior. I love Mattel over and above Jakks but I did like how they utilised 2-packs to showcase matches.
Thanks!

Apologies if anyone has already asked this, but... When can we realistically expect the Fiend to be released? Is there a chance you might do a basic, non-Fiend, Wyatt, in the interim? I'd take a basic in the singlet, like he wore on Sunday. I basically just want a new Bray, with all that lovely new ink, asap, please.
Also - and don't get me wrong, because it's a fantastic-looking figure, and I appreciate the work that went into it - and, this could be seen as nit-picking... but the E72 Batista is missing some ink. The Stars 'n' Stripes is missing on one side of his neck, but more noticeably, the tribal is missing from both his traps - it just cuts off at the shoulder joint, and makes the figure look incomplete, imo. It's especially puzzling, because the E30, from many moons ago, has it, and so do the previous basics. Would this have been down to deco budget restraints, or is it merely an oversight? Again, it's a great figure as is, and I'm glad you were able to get it out so soon - seeing as it's the last current Batista ever... but it just makes it look a bit odd, because the design is not "finished off", so-to-speak.

Has been said they are working to get out the Fiend as fast as possible, also no reason a Funhouse Bray can't be made. Didn't seem a basic Bray was gonna come any sooner than Fiend though.

Since Ringside has UE4 shipping in late January, do you have a rough timeframes as to when we'll see the usual prototype pictures of them?

Hey Steve, I imagine this got lost in the thread, but is it safe to say that the Survivor Series 2019 set isn't going to hit brick and mortar Walmarts?

InSteveWeTrust...InSteveWeTrust...InSteveWeTrust...InSteveWeTrust... *rocks back and forth* No, I mean Steve has been pretty insistent since SDCC that he is working on bringing the line back so I've taken the position to ignore every logical instinct I have and be optimistic instead Though hearing even the Majors sounding pessimistic on their podcast a couple of weeks ago at the lack of news about them doesn't help, nor learning now that even if they did find a way to bring it back then they would still have to work through the usual production timetable to get them out, which would suggest to me that even at best we're a long way away from getting any new Retros, and whatever momentum the line has left will be further diminished by then. But no, optimistic
