Does this mean we're not going to see this set in mass retail as previously thought? I think it’s safe to say that you can probably expect to see these show up at you local Five Below, TJ Maxx, or Big Lots in the coming months. How is that safe to say?

Why do so many elites only list “interchangeable hands” as being included? Even Sonya lists interchangeable hands...

I know you guys are in designing and not distribution but we're in the middle of the biggest shopping time of the season and this is what my local Walmart looks like. Has there been any discussion on the distribution problems (that you know of) that Mattel is STILL having after 10 years? There's pegs & pegs and pegs of other toy lines available (many are peg warming) but for whatever reason the WWE product cant even get to the shelves.

Now that interchangeable heads, arms, and hands are commonly used in the elite and ultimate lines are there any plans for interchangeable legs and/or boots? I think Brock would be ideal for swappable shorts/track pants legs.

I have four Walmart’s around me, and all of them have been without elites since late October/early November.

That's a question for Walmart. We need a Walmart executive employee on the board!
I know the former VP of Operations for the US, but I'm definitely not asking a professional connection about wrestling figures lol

Also empty. Target has the same top pick A.J. styles figures for months and months and no new elites and Walmart is empty. God I miss toys r us.

AFA,
How did you wind up in this industry? Was it something you went to school for or did it happen by chance?
Would you have any advice for people who want to pursue a career in the toy industry? I'm interested in marketing and design but I can't decide which avenue to pursue.

Are there any plans that have been discussed for a new Loose Cannon Brian Pillman figure? I know that he already has two of those with the Legends elite and the TNF Battle Pack, as well as the Flyin' Brian main line release, but the only LC Pillman elite we have is incredibly hard to get due to it being in the legends line. I'd love to see what he could look like with TrueFX!

Since I haven’t asked a question about the Retros in over 10 minutes, then:
How far were you guys into planning for the 2020 Retro waves before they were placed on hiatus? Obviously I don’t expect you to name names of guys who were planned, but did you have a list of names set for 2020, basic figure designs, maybe even prototypes; or did you always know that the line wasn’t going on after the Diesel series?

I'm interested in marketing and design but I can't decide which avenue to pursue. I briefly went over this in a previous post so give it a quick search. Definitely wasn’t by chance. I went to school with this career in mind. Go down the road of whatever interest you the most. The two jobs are very different as marketing runs the business side of things and design handles executing the creation of the individual figs, toys and playsets. Go to school for it, intern if you can, network whenever possible and don’t give up if it’s what you really want. If you go down the marketing path, pursue an MBA degree. If you’d rather pursue design, go to a school like Otis or FIT and enroll in their toy design program.

Thanks for the reply; so when the decision is made for the line to return then we’re looking at a similar production schedule (a year I think?) to get the new waves together? There’s not really anything that can be picked-up and completed in a quicker timeframe?

Obviously without going into specifics of naming talent involved, is there any waves that we should be excited for in the future? I think they all have something exciting to offer. That pattern will continue for the foreseeable future. Lots of surprises in store for Axxess and SDCC.
