Also, how excited would you and Bill be to create an Adrian Adonis figure?? God, I wish we lived in a different political climate that an Adrian Adonis figure could be possible.

Do u know if Wal-Mart is going to pick up the ultimate line next year? Doesn’t look like they will for the Jan resets. Hopefully later in the year. I noticed Walmart added Series 1 of the Ultimate Edition to their website this week. Maybe if they sell well enough online, they will give them a spot at retail.

Mattel is sort of in uncharted territory, given the length of the line and the depth of figures that have been released. Obviously some high-demand looks, such as 2000-era HHH, New Gen and WCW Warrior, etc have held back to anchor lineups. But with the Ultimate line that list keeps getting shorter and shorter. Does that present added challenges from a design and marketing/sales standpoint?

Can you update us on the situation with getting the last two waves of Retros into stores in the US? We’ve heard that Walmart aren’t taking them but Target still might, is that still the situation? How does production work in situations like this? Do you do a single production run in sufficient numbers for all retailers ahead of those waves reaching Ringside like earlier this year and now you have the Walmart allocation in storage looking for a new home, or do you do several production runs of a wave as the stores confirm their orders? Thanks. Just one production run is done for all retailers. As stated before, grab the figs you want from those waves online if you can. They’re off planogram at Walmart and it’s not looking likely they’ll hit Target. Thanks for the reply; really interesting to hear how things are done in regards to production. Sounds incredibly harsh/frustrating for Mattel to have invested in that stock only for the two main buyers (I assume) to back-out of taking them at all, especially when there does seem to be demand for new products in that line (though obviously I don’t know how large that demand actually is beyond social media), and those sets have the long-awaited Goldust and Diesel figures. What sort of options do Mattel have in situations like this to monetise this stock? Do you offer more to the online companies (I remember the UK retailers both reporting that they received less than they ordered of these waves, though I think they’ve had second deliveries since then), or is it over to the US discounters that have had a few of the earlier waves? Obviously don’t answer if I’m getting too close to confidential info; just interested in how it works. I was fortunate that I was online at the right time to grab the sets of each I needed from Wrestling Shop during the brief window they had them, but I know from social media that many weren’t that lucky, including some folks in the US with JYD at Ringside.

Action Figure Attack obviously you know there is a huge demand for that King Harley Race as it’s now selling for $300. Are there plans to get another Harley out?

And there’s still a lot of meaningful looks to choose from if we ever revisit previously released Legends.

We sell whatever stock we have it interested parties. If it’s not exclusive there are no initial restrictions. After a period of time it will be offered as closeout. It can be frustrating. We obviously want people to get the product they want as easily as possible. Just the nature of the business though.

AFA, are there any plans to mold shorter pants for all the announcers that are 5'8 or shorter? It seems they're all getting the 6'0 scale and are out of scale with some of the superstars that were clearly taller. I believe Danny Davis was 5'10, maybe Heenan... But the Fink, Mean Gene, and Jimmy Hart were DEFINITELY on the shorter end. Sometimes the neck peg helps but I feel it's not enough to make them shorter.

I’m surprised to hear that, well I hope things change, he would make a great figure. One more, not to push my luck, but if Stuka could one day become available would he be someone mattel revisited?

What's the word with the crow sting that was shown at SDCC? Moving along as planned. Is he mainline or exclusive?

What were some of the most challenging figures to get done without cutting corners on the attire or accessories that it needed to come with? Anything come to mind?

Are there any potential options being looked at for international collectors to get some of these exclusives? I know retailers can buy them, but if they don’t and there’s a market for them isn’t it in everyone’s interest to find another way?
