Mainline Elites are a case pack of 8. That means two will be double weighted. Your double weighted figs are your anchors of the waves. Your Batmans or Spider-Mans to compare to super hero lines. Those talents who anchor usually have proven history of sell through or have a popularity level high enough to greatly reduce the risk of clogging. Waves with BaF: Although many do, not every consumer wants to complete the BaF. Weighting of the waves is still evaluated by the talent included. This isn’t just done with WWE as you can see tons of examples with Marvel Legends where the same thing occurs. Thanks for the reply. To counter the Marvel Legends comparison though. Often those waves vary They may have 8 separate characters, 7 or 6. I’m guessing they adjust, where it seems like WWE is totally set on 6 per set. E68 would be a great example. You know and everyone knows that DB doesn’t have a great sell through history. Was or is it an option to just go 7 characters deep instead of double packing him Again not trying to troll or argue. These Elite slots are getting fewer and fewer, with all the NXT talents, etc. Just exploring ways to get more talent in the line They have a different strategy with each themed assortment living on its own where our Elites are one continuous line. That’s why you see them on different pegs with different toy number at Target. Spider-Man Legends peg, X-Men Legends peg, etc as they roll out new product throughout the year. This may give them extra flexibility as they get their internal approvals for their various waves. We approve our strategy, amount of waves, amount of figs in the wave at the beginning of the process each year and follow that plan. DB was chosen as it was his return Elite fig and he’s a main event level performer. The fig seems to be tracking just fine. He can be featured in this anchor slot if he’s not oversaturated there. |

Why hasn’t Mattel made any AWA title belts, I know people aren’t exactly demanding it but is there any reason why you guys haven’t made them? I could be wrong but I don’t believe we have rights to AWA titles. Talent to include them with is also limited. I mean you could do Hennig but think a majority of us would probably prefer nWo Hennig with the WCW US if you were to do another Curt. |

As well as Larry Zbyszko. And Hall and Hennig could come with the AWA tag titles. True. All figures that I would buy but another Model and Strike Force probably would need to be made before AWA Martel. We also need another elite Razor before a Big Scott Hall considering we only have 1 in wrestling attire. |

Most of the build a figure waves have featured a lot of main event talent. There was at least one of Cena, Punk, and/or Bryan in every elite TRU set. But the JR set had Curtis Axel who was a bit more niche.
Could adding a niche character be taken into consideration in future BAF lineups? Since you have to buy them all to get the BAF, that might be a good place for a lower card talent or a more obscure legend to help anchor their sales

What are the chances of an Elite Corey Graves in wrestling attire?
It's one of the more requested Elite figures, the tattoo and attire detail would be fun to work on and look great on an Elite.
I think it'd make a perfect Ringside Exclusive.

Im just throwing this out there...if you're making highly wanted WCW/AWA/ECW whomever titles, you can literally throw them in with ANYONE whether they held it or not and its going to sell. If you think Im gonna pass up buying a WCW US Title just cause it came with a crappy Bobby Lashley figure, yous wrong my friend.
