Do you still have the license for Crush? Would like to see a Kona version. The way the Demolition Crush was made seemed like a clear indicator that the plan was to do a simple repaint using the some mold. Also, what is the status of never before released belts? Big green, WCW US, WCW tv, etc.? Although extremely unlikely right now, was the NWA domed globe ever close to seeing the light of day from Mattel? He already answered they don't have Crush anymore.

If all of a sudden wwe allowed you access to make any celebrity from past appearances who would be your top 3-5 picks?
Similarly if you had worldwide rights for any wrestlers past and present who would you want to make and add to your own collection?

Which wrestler outside of WWE do you guys wish you could make the most?
Thanos Rollins - will we get an elite? Kevin Owens' Money in the Bank themed attire from SummerSlam last year, will it be released? He only wore it once but it'd pop well and stand out among his other red/silver elites.

I wish we could get the classic WCW luchadores into the line. We won’t be seeing that Seth as an Elite in the near future. Same with KO. Not impossible for either but no plans in place at the moment.

How big is the team that works on the WWE line? Aside from you and Bill, do others, like the designers for the basic lines, work exclusively on WWE or are they split across multiple toy properties?

In no particular order; Cyndi Lauper, Mr T, Lawrence Taylor and a Sting & Mr T 2-pack would be badass. This answer will change depending on when you ask me but some names I’d love to see as Elites are One Man Gang, Mr Fuji, Slick, Great Muta, PCO, Puma King, Sammy Guevara, La Parka....it’s really limitless.

This isn’t something that’s really possible at the moment. As with all brands, there’s limited peg space allocated to WWE at retail and that space has to be maximized. Retailers already don’t carry everything we offer like Ultimate Edition not being carried at Walmart locations. I’d rather see that hypothetical peg space used for an exclusive program like Network Spotlight to get a much variety out as possible and keep the pegs fresh with new waves. Can you clarify this? Let’s change the suggestion to put more variety into the ‘top picks’ line using ‘flashback’ type superstars that seem to sell well such as Hitman, Macho and Warrior. ALL of Mattels WWE lines combine both current and past Superstars - is this something that could be considered with ‘Top Picks’ as a way to expand the number of Warriors (for example) are offered? Or is it a case that they simply don’t have the support (sales) at retail to warrant such an expansion? Thanks as always for your continued responses - I’m checking this board (thread) daily now because you are giving us your time. You rule! Top Picks is primarily targeted at kids who are just getting into WWE or parents who need to buy a WWE fig for their kid and may only recognize a few main event level talents. It’s also geared towards retailers who say they never have enough of those well known Superstars. Adding Legends to the mix doesn’t serve the purpose of the line. No one would agree to do this, from Mattel to WWE to retailers. We do have plenty of Legends in the works though for our other lines with a mix of new looks for exiting figs and first time in the line Legends.

Read back a bit for more convo on that. Titles that are available to us will continue to be released in time. We don’t have the rights to the NWA title.

There’s a core WWE team across marketing, design, packaging & development. Only 2 or 3 team members have duties on other brands. There’s a larger support team at Mattel as well who handle logistics for the various brands including WWE. Our Basic designer works exclusively on WWE as does Bill with Elites and Ultimates.

Have you considered including aluminum cans as an accessory for Stone Cold? It’s such an integral part of his character that it would be cool to have a six pack or a cooler filled with cans included. They wouldn’t need a label so they could be soda cans for all we know.

Have you known a legend that would sign a licensing deal even without $ and or a percentage of what sells? For example, Dory Funk Jr might not have a demand at all in the current market ... but if the figure came out ... his popularity and signings could be enhanced greatly which will make him more money? Just curious. Thank you ... I love this.
