When are we going to see the next Edge elite? (doesn't have to be specific of course, but basically is there a shot we'll get one in 2020?)
and is there any chance of ever getting one with a soft goods entrance coat?

Now that an Elite Hurricane is on the way, would there ever be a chance of making Rosey down the line? It just comes down to him being signed. Im sure if someone let his brother Roman know that you guys wanted to commemorate him in action figure form, he’d help get the rights no questions asked But I’m sure it’s not that easy |

Yes. A few. They’ll be made. 👍🏼 Is Undertaker with the kick pad attire a possiblity? 2005ish? Regardless, yes it’s possible. Versions of anyone under a deal with no legal issues with their gear is possible. |

I have no doubt WWE can easily contact most Legends or their estates when needed. |

You’ll have to wait for an actual reveal for when/if the next Edge fig would be available. |

Has Mattel's budget for the WWE line changed (increased or decreased) or stayed the same since the line began in 2010?! Do you plan on releasing a proper Andre singlet figure (molded) at some point or are these crappy 2 in 1 figures all we are going to get? Will the E29 head ever be reused?!
Why do facial features (eyes, eye brows, beards) look so bad on figures that use this True FX technology?! Its quite clear that these features have been printed on and it looks cheap IMO. On figures that used the old method (painted on?) the facial features look much better, eyes are coloured in and beards & moustaches are fuller. Will the old method continue to be used or has it been completely phased out?!
Considering Jakks was signing deals with talent and that they went deep into the vaults (as far as whom they released figures of), I am quite surprised as well that they never made a Hercules fig?! I think either WWE wouldn't approve it or perhaps Herc's estate was asking too much $$, which might also be why they haven't signed a legends deal?!
How much time would they need, they had the line for 10 years and unlike Mattel had a dedicated line for legends which lasted quite a while. How long do merch contract signings usually take to complete- weeks, months, years?!
Sorry you think they’re “crappy”. I for one really like the Legends Andre fig with soft goods singlet. That being said, it is possible to revisit Andre again with a molded singlet at some point given he remains available to us. Why wouldn’t it be? True FX - direct inkjet printing deco is here to stay. The timeframe and terms can vastly vary from talent to talent. |

Completely hypothetical question here but as a fan and collector yourself if an Elite/Ultimate Owen Hart figure was ever to be made what attire and accessories would you want him to come with?
Second to that, do you have any personal favorites that Mattel hasn't had the chance to make that you would love to add to your collection?
Personally, I would love to see stars like Test, Steve Blackman, Kona Crush, The Patriot, Crash Holly, Hardcore Holly, Ahmed Johnson get the Mattel treatment. You guys do amazing work!

(i ask because these seem like things WWE might shoot down)
Does RSC Undertaker as Kane...count as the Kane elite for the next year? As in its felt behind the scenes that you dont need another Kane for awhile. Or does that strictly count as an Undertaker figure and another Kane elite can still be made no problem?

Marvel, DC, Star Wars & from multiple companies. Lots of NECA stuff. I’m really into Storm Collectibles Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat figs at the moment as well. Plus a bit more of it really catches my eye. Favorite all time line is Super Powers. But if you asked me what line I’d keep forever if I had to choose only one, it’d be WWF Hasbros. |

Was Booker T for the WM 36 elites chosen specifically to go with the WM 19 Triple H that was previously released?
The figure looks great. But seemed like an odd choice to do yet another Booker in white trunks, when he's worn other colors that haven't been done yet.
its been said that one of the reasons we finally got a referee, was that Danny Davis was a wrestler.
Does that mean;
A) that a Danny Davis in his ring gear is possible?
B) Charles Robinson as our modern referee figure is a possibility? (since he did wrestle in WCW)

What figure(s) have wowed you Mattel guys with how in demand/popular they were? Surely you expect all of them to do well, but which have been the strong sellers that were pleasant surprises? While I knew King Mabel would be popular because of pent up demand and it’s a killer fig, his reception has far exceeded those expectations. Word! I was blown away by that as well. Overall in my return to this hobby (affliction), I'm floored by how much obsessive nostalgia dictates peoples' figure-buying games, even to the point of making historical embarrassments and bit players hot sellers. When I was playing with the almost useless, crappy Hasbro WWF figures as a kid, I consciously longed for figures I could actually make, you know, wrestle and do moves, as well as for all wrestlers to be as exciting in the ring as The Rockers and Randy Savage. That day has come along in full force now, so while I'm glad to have new representations of the few favorites from my youth that are still worthy of respect, I'm even more appreciative of the younger, more exciting guys doing things I could've never imagined. That brings me to the question I was leading toward with my original one...Did you guys see the Pete Dunne demand coming? That Chicago Takeover match between him and Tyler Bate, and my resulting obsession to own a plastic version of each, is what got me back in the game after being out for about 15 years. HUGE props for getting another version of him in the line so quickly. Aleister Black too. I'll look forward to having 2 versions of each. |
