Steve, thanks so much for answering so many questions about the crowd fund so quickly. Really makes a huge difference with these kinds of projects to have quick question turnaround especially for what's probably the biggest week of the year for you all.
Now for the questions.
Are ring conversion kits (posts, turnbuckles and ropes) a viable option for Mattel or is it a case where the ring has to be included for different branding?
Similarly, would a blue steel cage for the UE rings be something that could work at retail or online only?
Appreciate anything you can answer and hope you're having a blast!

Incredible work on the crowdfund Steve. Forget about He-Man, you and Bill are the real Masters of the Universe! I know you can't spoil anything but will we see more red and yellow Hogan elites in the future hopefully with the winged eagle title around his waist MOC?

Hi Steve,
Maybe you can help clarify - if the Nitro arena hits 5k backers before April 7, the description says that “everyone” gets the Hogan figure.
Does this mean that as long as it hits that number by a certain date, even people who order after the Hogan deadline will still get Hogan?

Steve, I know you are being bombarded with questions from International buyers about the high price for the Nitro Entrance. Would it not be better for Crowd Funding Events to not have any charges included in the total payable and just charge everyone the $400 plus shipping? This way we can sort the Customs charges next year when these are due to ship? This may sit well with a lot of International buyers and hopefully gives a boost in the backer numbers. This set is extremely well done and looks amazing, its a shame this added charge for international buyers is putting a lot of people off from backing this  |

MOC images of Elite 102 are out, the attire looks amazing, the head looks amazing, the torso looks horrible!
I know you keep trying that's heavily appreciated, but is there a specific reason why the torso can't be changed, is it like Hogan where some parts are incompatible?
Looking forward to all the reveals.

With the cost if the WCW Nitro for outside the US, does this include any custom charges or handling fees etc, as $217 over the price that US Collectors are paying is a bit unfair, especially since there is a lot of WWE Figure fan base in the UK and around the world. If they are included, which explains the price hike, is there not a way you can just not charge anyone outside the added fees? Charge everyone the $400 and let us outside the US deal with the Import Fees/Handling fees etc when they are dispatched next year, I feel doing this will see a boost in the backing of this item and may possibly sway many outside the US to back it more than they are at this moment. I believe the variance on top of the exchange rate is a shipping surcharge that’s dependent on country to account for those increased costs. They should be adding something to the FAQ on the site with more specific info. Thank you, info had indeed been added to the FAQ page. Shipping surcharge is $40 CAD for Canada. Fair enough. But $400 US is not converted to $655 CAD, as the chart says, it's $542. So there's still the $113 discrepancy that Mattel Creations has added. Anyway we can get the currency exchange actually fixed? |

Hey Steve I know your busy but when you can you explain what a crowd funder does.
Does it not allow you to get new parts or specific parts that really only work on 1-2 guys ?
Does it make it easier to build say another stage in the future.does it not give you a sense of demand for more figures from that Era?
Does it allow to keep building on in the future with bigger or better items ?

Are ring conversion kits out of the realm of possibility? I've already purchased the New Gen and Attitude Era rings in the last 6 months, plus I also own the Jakks RSR and WCT ASR which I don't want to get rid of because of their respective accessory playsets. I really don't have space for a fifth Nitro ring.
Would it be possible to sell ringskirts, canvases and ropes/turnbuckle pads separately on Mattel Creations?
