Sorry if this has been asked previously, but do we know why the rollout of Legends 18 has been so strange? App still showing the figures in “pre order” status (also can’t be selected for pickup, shipping, etc) while the figures are actually in stores?

Is it easier to get permission to do DC inspired attires such as Batman Rey Mysterio, Joker/Robin Kofi Kingston than it is for Marvel inspired attires like Gargano's Woverine and Rollins X-Men? Do you even need permission for DC attires since Mattel makes DC toys or has that changed with DC's line with McFarlane toys?

Hi Steve,
UE’s are a hot topic right now with sizing, either scale wise or torso choices but can I also throw butterfly joints in there…it feels like these are automatically added for perceived additional value and I understand for ‘some’ talent the extra posing may be worth it but for the majority, all they do is take away the realism of a premium figure.
Andre the giant does not need butterfly joints, nobody is utilising those for a guy who only ever raise his arm up. The heads, hands and soft goods give us enough to justify the premium price. Posing Andre side on for his ICONIC show downs with Hogan should be an absolute must here but it’s impossible as the shoulders look horrible aesthetically, even more so side on.
Can more consideration go in to choosing who does and who doesn’t actually need butterfly joints?

Steve, will we see any First time in the Line figures, in the upcoming Monday Night War line? Elite and UE?
And...what are the chances of finally getting an UNMASKED Rey Mysterio elite in this line?

Any chance of a curt hennig wearing flair's robe from their feud in 97? Also would love a hogan wearing the robe with sleeves cut off and hollywood rules shirt underneath. Would fit great in the MNW line 🙂

Steve, are you able to share more specific dimensions for the Nitro stage parts? I know they're on the site as a whole construct, but would be good to get it broken out in case people want to display it in parts/without certain sections etc. Tell me what you want to know specifically and I’ll try to measure the stage when I’m at the office again. Awesome, thank you! Would be great to know: - Height and width of the entrance stage (not sure if its attached to the staging floor blocks, so I guess with and without them if its not glued onto those) - Same as above for the structure with the banners Essentially, I'm just looking at display options and whether there might be cabinets to hold this. I made a small amend to my Detolf to fit the New Gen stage in, so just getting ahead of it. Thanks again! |

When you make appearances on podcasts promoting mattel products, or when you interacting here and on social media, are you paid over time? Do you only do so during normal business hours when on the clock? Or is it neither of those?

I see that Mattel Creations has...well had...Chucky and Tiffany Monster High dolls for sale. With a relationship established with Universal and the Chucky property, would you like to see Chucky make an appearance in the WWE line? Perhaps with Liv or Rick Steiner?

Hi Steve, it appears that this Defining Moments Mankind will not have his wrist tape that was worn during King of the Ring 1998 which is where this DM comes from. From understanding what you have said in the past regarding timetables, I suspect this is too far into production right now to correct? If I were to guess, these are being packaged right now?    If so, just to raise a point - please could you pass on the message to the design team to try to get attires as 100% accurate as possible? I get it when budget creates issues, and appreciate that. And although I don't want to come off as negative, things such as this or Scott Hall's untucked trousers are things that should not be overlooked and up to us to point out. Thank you. Was his tie actually navy blue at KOTR 98? |
