MLW will hold its first PPV, Saturday Night SuperFight, from Cicero Stadium in Cicero, Illinois this Saturday. The PPV will be on FITE ($19.99) and traditional PPV.
MLW World Heavyweight Championship Jacob Fatu (c) vs. LA Park (with Salina de la Renta)
MLW World Middleweight Championship Teddy Hart (c) vs. Austin Aries
MLW National Openweight Championship Alexander Hammerstone (c) vs. Davey Boy Smith Jr.
Texas Tornado Match for MLW World Tag Team Championship The Dynasty (Maxwell J. Friedman and Richard Holliday) (c) vs. The Von Erichs (Marshall Von Erich and Ross Von Erich)
Stairway to Hell Match Jimmy Havoc vs. Bestia 666 vs. Mance Warner
Tom Lawlor vs. Timothy Thatcher
Injustice (Jordan Oliver, Kotto Brazil, and Myron Reed) vs. Gringo Loco, Puma King, and Septimo Dragon
Low-Ki vs. Brian Pillman Jr.
..............
Historic event for a promotion I’ve really enjoyed over the last couple of months, really think they’ll put on a good show!
Anyone else invested with MLW at the moment?

MAJOR LEAGUE NEWS:
Major League Wrestling has hired former Lucha Underground co-Executive Producer and co-creator Chris DeJoseph, according to Sports Illustrated.
DeJoseph ran Lucha Underground from 2014 until 2018, and also spent six years writing for WWE.
"Since the last season of Lucha Underground, I've had an itch to get back in the game," DeJoseph said. "I've been watching what they've been doing and the steps they are taking to keep building, and I can't wait to get my hands dirty with MLW. Look at that MLW roster—Alex Hammerstone, Brian Pillman Jr., the Von Erichs, Tom Lawlor, Davey Boy Jr.—you can go on and on, there are so many young stars. My job will be to help make them better performers and better characters."

kinda disappointed to see Austin Aries landed somewhere significant after his behaviour in impact.
pretty damn stacked card though! I’ll be checking the event out for sure.

Tom Lawlor has signed a multi year deal with MLW.
I’m really enjoying Tom recently and I think MLW is the perfect place for him at this stage of his career.

Resigning Tom and Fatu is a pretty big statement. Both of those guys could have easily landed in one of the major promotions. MLW is very serious about growing. Women's division just officially launched in the latest episode. They also now have an official partnership with AAA too. (How this impacts the AEW relationship with AAA I have no idea, especially considering Kenny Omega is the AAA champion currently). MLW is continuing to pick up steam, and I've really been enjoying their product. They also nabbed Alicia Atout on the mic. I guess AEW didn't have room for her, she had done a few things for them prior.

After seeing Teddy Hart and Maria Manics YouTube page (funny af btw), not surprised they released Teddy Hart. As in hiring ACH, eh. Never really cared for him in ROH, basket case in WWE. God forbid MLW ever release/not push this guy. The rants hed go on

He’s not mentally stable, surely.

He’s not mentally stable, surely. And he just showed the T-shirt design, while hideous, was not the problem

gunna watch last weeks episode tonight (opera cup) binged a bit last new years eve, and kinda forgot about it. good solid wrestling, but some gimmicks are too cheesy/lame. but it's a platform for younger guys. i don't think their partnership with AAA will affect AEW, since some AEW guys appear on MLW pretty regularly

MLW one of my fav promotions. Realistic and they treat it like a sport. MLW vs AAA on twitch march 13th 9pm i belive. I know injustice is going for the AAA trios straps. Hammerstone(who is one of my favs) defending the national openwight title. Pillman n davey boy teaming too.

I always found their weekly shows to be bland with matches that weren't that special. I want to like it! I know a lot of people seem to really like it! I liked Hammerstone from Paragon Pro Wrestling so I've been a fan of his. Is there a certain jumping in point I should start from with MLW? Like when it gets really good?
