Did I miss someone posting the current big rumor from a Spanish announcer that Vince hasn’t been paid for the last 2 shows so he ordered the Saudi feed cut before the show was over, and the Prince retaliated by grounding the flight?
Big Dave isn’t confirming it, (probably because he wasn’t the first to come up with it) but he is spreading things like having wrestlers make statements about the mechanical issues and whatnot which he finds odd.
As Nivro mentioned, it’s hard to get a publicly traded company to outright lie and say they had issues. People hear a plane has mechanical problems and they start using other companies. Who knows.

I've seen where those above tweets were in the context of the WWE releasing a statement about praising stars (supposedly SD talent) for trying to pay for a charter to get back home earlier, and some took it as a slight, as though the rest were fine getting an extra day's rest and not doing whatever possible for "the fans". Did I miss someone posting the current big rumor from a Spanish announcer that Vince hasn’t been paid for the last 2 shows so he ordered the Saudi feed cut before the show was over, and the Prince retaliated by grounding the flight? I hinted at it in a reply but didn't get into the details.

This wasn't a mechanical issue. These social media posts are proof. Anyone who believes that is lying to themselves or a WWE shill or both. http://instagr.am/p/B4YYgsspC2a Dave Meltzer is a paid AEW shill but you take his word as the gospel. Try another trick because this one no longer works. Hugo Savinovich talked about this as well. Also are you really going to just ignore what the actual wrestlers are saying publicly on their own social media accounts?

I hope they never go back. Whether it's the wrestlers refusing or Vince pulling the plug, idc. My opinion is that mechanical issues is total BS, and everyone in WWE should be beyond pissed at the situation. Vince is apparently not happy with them, Superstars not of course, plus Superstars aren't happy with Vince. Wild times at the E. And regardless of what happened, if they're not being paid, why go back until you are?

Look at what Karl Anderson's wife tweeted. Something really stinks about this whole situation.

Vince McMahon shouldn't have left his employees behind in a country like Saudi Arabia.

Glad they are back safely. I don't buy that WWE is still owed all those millions. if Vince wasn't paid for the last show, why would he go back to get screwed again ?

Imagine if the wrestlers had a union?
I wonder if they'll boycott it next year?

Can we use our heads for a minute? You mean to tell me that all the major media outlets decided not to report on this if it were true
If the rumors and conspiracies were true, this would be getting insane amounts of media coverage
Remember when Vader was stuck? News outlets went wild with it
This a nothing burger.

So it is something that the media would want to latch onto if it were true.

So it is something that the media would want to latch onto if it were true. which could be why the situation was contained - it's not like saudi arabia is overflowing with american journalists. if saudi arabia, wwe, and the airline are all keeping it hush, then it would remain that way. i'm not suggesting that's what happened for sure, there's currently strength to support either side of opinion.

Thankfully it wasn't like that "Walking Dead" episode and we saw all the WWE people with their heads on pikes on the border! Screw going back there.....but...I also need a second pool. I'll do it!

Sending messages to a corporate head over business doesn't have to jump right to "heads on pikes". Violence or political incarcerations would really deflate the government's goal of engaging in a goodwill campaign to promote positive PR and tourism $$$ (which is exactly the reason why this deal with WWE was formed), especially toward public figures. In addition, any blatant actions would very well jeopardize their budding relationship with the Administration in the States. A much more subtle approach would involve bureaucratic red tape, procedural irregularities, multiple reasons given as to why departures were delayed, and a general lack of clarity surrounding the situation. Which lines up perfectly to what is being reported.
