This month marks the 25th anniversary of the 1994 Survivor Series. One of the first big PPVs that I remember from my early days of being a diehard WWF fan. There have been so many great Survivor Series teams over the years, but 1994 featured perhaps my all-time favorite: The Teamsters. While maybe not the most inspiring name, this team was stacked with Shawn Michaels, Diesel, Owen Hart, Jim Neidhart and Jeff Jarrett. These are all first-ballot Hall of Famers even withstanding the complications regarding Owen's estate. In terms of heel star power from the early New Generation era, The Teamsters represent the top of the class so it is really cool that they teamed up for one night. The vision of them all in the ring after they make their entrance with the pyro going off is incredible even if they did lose the match. Anybody else think The Teamsters are one of the most badass Survivor Series teams ever?

Yes, yes, yes.... YES!!
I have my own personal reasons of course as to why I love The Teamsters (and honestly, I liked the name, you could tell that was an HBK name for sure) and I loved the five guys they fought that night.
Razor Ramon, 123 Kid, British Bulldog, Fatu and Sionne vs. Diesel, Shawn Michaels, Jeff Jarrett, Owen Hart and Jim Neidhart was such a power five on five match. Especially for the 1994 year, when talent wasn't as huge as it was six or seven years earlier.
I make a routine every November to watch the 1987 Survivor Series and the 1994 Survivor Series. To me, those two are the best ones representing each era perfectly.

Razor, Kid and The Bulldog were among the top babyfaces in the company at the time. And even The Headshrinkers were one of the biggest teams from that era featuring a future Hall of Famer in Fatu (Rikishi). Seone (The Barbarian) wasn't too established in the role, but still a legitimate name in the eyes of fans from his previous years with the WWF and he acted as the perfect foil to Neidhart playing the role of seasoned veteran from the Golden Era. Great observation also noting that despite the lack of roster depth in 1994, this match was absolutely star-studded. A great choice for the opening match as the crowd was hot from the start and the match ended up telling a great story with future implications that played out in the following days with Diesel turning on Shawn to win the WWF title.

Definitely my fav team from this event. Five solid heels during this time period.
Kevin Nash sure had one hell of a 1994. Strong showing in Rumble, Beat Razor for IC Belt in April, Tag belts with HBK in October and a World Title run before year ends. WWF was definitely running on Diesel Power!

The Barbarian could beat all five guys on The Teamsters.

I loved the Teamsters, but I HATED the end of that match. The entire team gets themselves counted out despite a 5-on-1 advantage? You'd think that any combination of Owen/Anvil/Jarrett could have stayed behind to mop Razor up.
