I am sure this has been done on here before in past years, but screw it, let's do it again!
Everyone, pick your top 10 favourite teams from the 80s and 90s for Survivor Series. If you want to include a little reason why you picked each team, do so! If not, and you just wanna put down your top 10 teams, that's cool too! Doesn't have to be in order, or it can be, whatever you want to do!
I am gonna do it in just order by years.
1. Randy Savage, Brutus Beefcake, Ricky Steamboat, Jim Duggan and Jake Roberts - This team was just a dream team of sorts for that era. All five men you could easily see being able to dethrone Honky Tonk Man of the IC Title at that time frame.
2. Hulk Hogan, Bam Bam Bigelow, Don Muraco, Ken Patera and Paul Orndorff - That is one helluva stacked baby face team for that era. Hogan shows how forgiving me is, by befriending Muraco, Patera and Orndorff - FOR A SECOND TIME!
3. Powers of Pain, Hart Foundation, British Bulldogs, Rockers and Young Stallions - What a group of teams that one team is! The amount of amazing tag teams for that era is just crazy when you look back at it.
4. Ultimate Warrior, Legion of Doom and Texas Tornado - What a team here of superheroes! I had all four in Hasbro form, so many times I would have them wrestle against....
5. Mr. Perfect, Ax, Smash and Crush - The Perfect Team! All four I had in Hasbro form too, so they fought the team above many times just like their real life encounter.
6. Roddy Piper, British Bulldog, Bret Hart and Virgil - What a group of IC Title contenders these guys were at that time frame. Hard not to cheer on those four in 1991.
7. Razor Ramon, Marty Jannetty, 123 Kid and Randy Savage - Kind of a sleeper team here, but even taking out Mr. Perfect and adding in Randy Savage, it may have made the team even better.
8. Lex Luger, Rick and Scott Steiner and The Undertaker - This is a dream team of sorts too in the early stages of the New Generation era.
9. Razor Ramon, 123 Kid, British Bulldog and Headshrinkers - The Bad Guys were a stacked team. IC Champion, IC Title contenders, and the former WWE Tag Champions one one squad.
10. Diesel, Shawn Michaels, Jeff Jarrett, Owen Hart and Jim Neidhart - The Teamsters! This is an amazing team here. Tag Champions, tag champion contenders, former IC Champions, IC champion contenders. Such a solid team.
So those are my top 10 favourite Survivor Series teams in those two decades.

1) Ultimate Warrior, Modern Day Warrior/Texas Tornado Kerry Von Erich & Road Warriors/Legion of Doom
2) Ultimate Warrior, Jim the Anvil & The Rockers
3) Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior & Tito Santana
4) Hulk Hogan, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Big Bossman & Tugboat
5) Big Bossman & Legion of Doom
6) Macho Man Randy Savage, Ricky the Dragon Steamboat, Jake the Snake Roberts, Brutus the Barber Beefcake & Hacksaw Jim Duggan
7) Hulk Hogan, Jake the Snake Roberts & Demolition
8) Jake the Snake Roberts, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Tito Santana, Ken Patera & Scott Casey. It was just bizarre how a preliminary wrestler made it onto the team.
I cant come up with the other 2 and wish I bought the Survivor Series Anthology 1987-1991 DVD set.

Two teams I loved and a match I loved is
Roddy Piper, Bret Hart, British Bulldog and Virgil vs Ric Flair, Ted Dibiase, The Mountie and The Warlord
I loved Hot Rods team and this match is a ton of fun and one of my favorite opening matches of any Survivor Series PPV.
My all time favorite team is from the year prior, Ultimat Warrior, Texas Tornado and Legion of Doom. I loved all four guys and seeing them all on one team was awesome. As was getting to see all three members of Demolition wrestle at the same time (well if you can count how long all three were in the match of course!) which was something I had never seen on TV before.

Jake,Disasters and IRS was another great heel squad that we almost got.
Man they should've put Savage as the replacement for Sid to build more to This Tuesday in TX. Total missed opportunity there. I would've much rather had that than just interviews between Jake and Mach even though both delivered gold promos at that event.

I agree, I think Jake and Savage could have made it work where they wouldn't give too much away and still set up the match at This Tuesday in Texas.

Some great teams being mentioned here....hard to argue with any of them!!!!
Looking back at those SSeries massive tag team encounters was insane.....the tag roster was insanity.

My favorite team is definitely The Teamsters from the 1994 event.
I was fortunate enough to be in attendance for the 2006 Survivor Series in Philly and the team comprised of Triple H, HBK, CM Punk and The Hardyz was an absolute Murderers Row. Even with wrestling being predetermined, that squad deserved to be as dominant as they were booked that night.
One of my favorite teams that often gets little praise is from the 1993 Survivor Series: Razor, Savage, 1-2-3 Kid and Marty. Such a great opening match that barely gets any recognition.

Those Showdown shows were great. They did a great job in hyping up the PPV.
I have all of em in my personal collection. Gotta dig some out sometime as I haven't watched those in a good while.

I remember that these matches often threw up shocks....like POP eliminating Demolition in 1989....stuff that never happened.

I have to say all of them, but that's because I love the traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team matches. Every match in every Survivor Series should have always been this type of match. There are at least 11 other pay per views per year, and at least 104 TV episodes per year to have non traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team matches, and 0 reasons to have other match types at the November special. With that being said, my favorite Survivor Series teams from the 80s and 90s were... Imagine that Survivor Series dream match!! I'd add my own twist and put the WWF World Championship Title Belt, WWF Intercontinental Championship Title Belt, and WWF World Tag Team Championship Title Belts all on the line, in a winner take all match. I would have loved to see the team of Hulk Hogan, Macho Man Randy Savage, Ultimate Warrior, and Brutus the Barber Beefcake as the Ultimate Mega Maniac Powers.
