Happened to me too. If you’re at the store grab an elite and have them scan it.

Yeah. I've run into employees putting out boxes a few times in my pursuit of Kassius Ohno. I've had them scan E69 to see if they had more figures and they were showing up 0. I wonder if this has to do with the hold for the holiday season. Maybe if they hit a certain date they'll show in the system?
I have no idea but I've started to really rely on the trackers for info. With a ft job, two kids under three, and very limited hunting time, it's frustrating to try and drive around places like it's 1997 again haha. I'm mostly just hopeful that Ringside will start to get the exclusives in-stock on a more consistent basis. I think that will curb the Chumlees on Ebay and somewhat put an end to this charade with these stores.

Perhaps the DPCI is switching over to a new one with E71. Strangely, the Michigan warehouse apparently got a pallet of E70, as a case showed up in Southfield yesterday. I saw the number jumped and prayed it was Ohno time for me. Instead it was Gargano time, and I was quite confused. There were already 2 gone from the case when I got there, but given this anomaly and the previous distribution goof-ups, it wouldn't surprise me if Brisco was one of the two bought. But anyway, apparently 087-06-4395 is still working for E70, at least in SE MI. I wonder what people who have already bought 71 at Target have experienced as far as that DCPI's quants rising or falling...

If it helps, an employee told me they were told to disable something in toy departments for the upcoming season and not allowed to go to the back to check inventory. They want everyone to have a fair shot at getting hard to get items for the holidays.
Was told at the end of every other night, person running toys will check the pegs. If they're low, they'll add more the next day, but they won't search in the back.
Two stores in my area told me this.

I'll have to ask somebody if they're getting the same rap next time I'm in a Target. If that's the approach they're going to take, they gotta find a way to roll out whole cases of the exclusives then. I assume Walgreens got dedicated cases of Alexa Bliss based on how many I've seen still around... Regardless it's going to be a savage hunting season for my Ohno and chase Murphy if they're all following that protocol.

What a cluster. Collecting has been such a nightmare as of late. I have been to my Target for a month straight looking for Paige and Ohno with no luck. Meanwhile there are targets in other parts of the U.S. that have received multiple boxes and scalpers scoop the up. Mattel distribution and service just plan suck.

it is infuriating to me that collecting has to be this cut throat competition these days . In theory the idea of store exclusives is cute, but its really not doing right by dedicated loyal collectors. Having one Ohno, and one Paige per box , that is gone 5 minutes after they hit the shelves...they are on ebay for like $100!!!!! Mattel needs to do something about this :/

My numbers spiked from 6 to 14 today at Target. I asked an employee if they had anymore of these in the back and handed him an Elite 69 Ricochet. He immediately said, "Yeah we do" without scanning it. He then scanned it and corrected himself saying there were actually just 4 on the floor (Not true...there were 2 Miz's, 1 Rey, 1 Ricochet, 1 Lashley & 1 Nikki Cross). It didn't seem right to me.

Jeez! So is this going to happen EVERY time a new series of Elites arrives at Target?!

So I stopped at a Target today and a few Top Talent figures on the pegs. I went to the price checker machine and put in the 087-06-4395 and it said "in aisle #" and immediately after there was a few letters and numbers, like codes, which I assumed meant it was the location of them in the back (like the old days, I remember using this method from when I got the Macho & HBK Defining Moments years ago.) The guy I dealt w/took his little scanner and put the dcpi in, and nothing came up. On his device it said "something went wrong" or words to that effect, and there was no info. Has this happened with anyone else?
Oh, and do you think he was bs-ing me cause he didn't want to go in the back? And should I go back later this afternoon to see if they got put out, or at least deal with another employee?
And I didn't bring up any inventory tracking site to anyone.

I had the same thing happen on Sunday. They got a case in but it wasn't out. The employees were trying to be helpful, but it wasn't showing up in the system. Until it gets fixed, I don't know if they will put them out since they can't update their inventory if it isn't found (they might even send them back since the guy thought they might be cancelled, which we know isn't true). I didn't want to bring up inventory websites or push them to go to the back, but until it's fixed, I don't think they will go on the floor unless an employee pulls them without scanning them. The inventory hasn't gone down at my store so they are still in the back.

It's crazy because I found a Nikki Bella at another store and when I scanned it, it came up with a description, her name, and a pic of the figure. And about a week earlier at this same Target I found Drew, Big Show, and Cena. So someone bought the other 5 in the case so maybe they fixed it then. Who knows.

Take a picture of a upc you have at home and take it in case they don’t have anything on the shelf. They couldn’t find it by dpci but scanning a barcode worked.

Had the same issue here in Phoenix. The employee got creative and found the dcpi for Jeff Hardy on thier website and checked how many where in stock. That store has them but she checked the back and could not find them. Suggested coming back BBC first thing in the morning and the case was in a pallet when I walked in.
They (corporate not the store employees) certainly don’t make it easy now.
