While I know there is a SW official thread, I'd like a larger range of opinion of this, so I made a separate thread-I hope the mods dont mind for a little bit.
I know this is pretty much a matter of opinion but I'm trying to declutter my life and have decided my SW collection must go. I started way back at the first POTF line in 95 or so and collected pretty much the whole line of them up to 99. I also have a good chunk of the prequel figs and a lot of vehicles and such. I'd like to just sell the whole shebang but Im nto sure what a decent price might be on EBay. I was figuring maybe $1500. Do you think thats too high? Ive never tried to unload a whole collection at once, so Im not sure if I should just break it down into series lots.
Thanks for any input.

I think selling them indiviudally/in lots of a few each would sell better, as unless you need most of them, someone probably won't spend over $1000 on them. But you never know.

I'm in the same situation as you. I'd like to get rid of the collection all at once, but selling each piece individually might get you more money in the long run.
Try putting the whole set for sale as a lot & see what happens. Good luck.

I have a collection similar to yours, and it's hard to say. All of the 95-present stuff has pretty much lost all of its value, and often sells for less than original retail. The only exceptions are some of the extremely rare figures, of which there aren't many. Vintage collections usually sell very well in lots, but I am not so sure about POTF stuff, as most people who are interested, have already picked up everything they need, dirt cheap. I would do some research on ebay. Follow some individual auctions, and also follow a few auctions of lots similar to yours. Honestly, if you even get half of their "value" I will be very surprised.
