thinking about it, a fued with him and val venis woulda been cool for x-rated WWF times, lol! fued with goldust, puttin marlena on his tights ala jake's wife. same with jarrett/debra, and others guys ladies/wives.

Agreed 100% that Rude would be right at home in the Attitude Era.
I think Austin/Rude would have been a great feud (as Rick was pitching to Vince). Imagine the heat between the characters when Rude comes out with Debra spray painted on his crotch. Austin would be livid.
Or have the tables turned on him with Val Venis putting the moves on Rudd’s wife.

I dont think Rude wouldve fit in well at all as an active wrestler during that time. Guys like Val Venis and Joel Gertner stole his act and were getting themselves over with a new audience. Plus, Rude was in real bad shape. If Rude were still an active wrestler during that time, then there probably wouldn't be any need for Val Venis type characters in the first place. |

Do you believe Scott Steiner would become the "Big Bad Booty Daddy/Big Poppa Pump" if Rick Rude was still an active wrestler? Those characters were basically an even more over the top version of "Ravishing Rick Rude".
