Mankind and Sable Mommy storyline Does anyone remember mankind calling her mommy during 1996 what happened to this story but it all suddenly stop anyone

I just remember him calling Goldust's wig Mommy on an IYH PPV.

Yeah I recall him coming out at SSlam 96 during the Mero/Goldust match and calling Sable ''mommy''.I think he did it one other time post that either on a Raw or Superstars but after that it was dropped.

I'm guessing there was a Mankind/Mero feud in the works but it didn't happen. Mankind had been wrestling Undertaker for a few months already yet continued on until the end of the year. I think Mick Foley may have turned down a Mero feud because Mero had gotten a bigger contract when they both came in at the same time.
As a kid I definitely would've thought Sable would be old enough to be Mankind's mother. She just looked so much older than she was. I would've never guessed she was mid to late 20s at the time.

Sable did look like a mom. I always thought that if you compared Sunny to Sable, Sunny was the high school cheerleader sitting beside you in class, and Sable was your math teacher. She somehow looked older than her age. I just never saw the appeal to Sable, but I do remember Sandman in ECW did a "mommy" story line with Woman I wanna say. Maybe the WWE was trying to do that with Foley and Sable.
