So this morning I was going through some of my Mattel WWE gets for Christmas and I had USA Sting & Warrior out on the table in front of me with their respective World Titles....and then it dawned on me these 2 wrestlers that started out together and shared so many similarities have another that never occurred to me until now
Sting won his 1st world Title in his U.S.A. gear....Warrior lost his 1st(& only) World Title in his U.S.A. gear. Most of you probably already thought about this bit I genuinely NEVER did until today....LOL

I just posted in the Boss Man thread how in 1988 Bam Bam Bigelow had to put over Boss Man on his way out of the WWE, and in 1993, Boss Man had to put over Bigelow on his way out of the WWE. That's a weird coincidence!
How about the fact the Road Warriors lost their World Tag Titles in AWA, NWA and WWE, it was always to make shift teams, never legit tag teams they were feuding with or beat.
Garvin and Regal in AWA, Rotunda and Williams in NWA, IRS & DiBiase and Gunn & Road Dogg in WWE. All these teams were put together just days or weeks before the title lost.

Honestly I never gave that any thought, but what I did give thought to was those two attires were my favorite attires for both Sting and Warrior. lol

I think Arn & Tully were the only tea to beat Demolition & The RWs in title situations....cant think of anyone else? |
