Christmas when a kid or teenager is always more special than being an adult. And I had some good ones then when it involved wrestling figures.
When I was a kid, I remember getting Jesse Ventura and Paul Orndorff LJN figures on year.
A Christmas or two later, I got the LJN ring, Kamala and Ted Arcidi.
Then fast forward to my teenage years. In Christmas of 1996, I got a Shawn Michaels, Owen Hart and Undertaker Series 2 BCA figures.
And then in 1998 I got the tag sets of New Age Outlaws, Brian Christopher & Jerry Lawler, and D'Lo Brown & Kama Mustafa BCA figures.
I remember how exciting it was to open those figures up, have new and exciting matches with them that day. Those were just fun times!
Anyone else have great memories of getting wrestling stuff on Christmas morning??

My favourite wrestling xmas was when I got a load of the then newly released in the uk videos from silvervision - maybe 1990 or 91?
I got wrestlemania 4, summerslam 88, survivor series 88, rumble 89 and mania 5. I sat and watched them all one after the other over xmas and boxing day.
I brought my TV from my bedroom in to the lounge so i was with my family but they could still watch their programmes and films etc! lol

Nothing like coming down the stairs and unwrapping LJN/Hasbros and Coliseum Videos. I remember those Christmas mornings well

Yeah, I was getting JLN figures pretty much every Christmas during the second half of the 80s. And remember getting the ring and the 16 inch Hogan for one of those years. Funny thing, since I was collecting them during the year, Christmas became where I would get guys I didn't really want to get but needed to fill in my collection.

I don't remember getting a lot of wrestling figures for Xmas but two years do stand out - WWF Hasbro's. In 1991 I got Rowdy Roddy Piper and S2 Ultimate Warrior and in 1993 I got S4 Taker, S5 Macho Man, and S2 Hacksaw (seems like one of those KB Toys 3 for $10 deals...)

Sears BCA Monster Ring deal that came with a Stone Cold, Kane, Austin and a Rock. perfect for any kid in 1999. combine that with the tlc vhs and a few others, and i was ecstatic.

got hulk/hillbilly jim 2 pack, andre, snuka, sheik, volkoff, & bulldogs LJN all same year in 1986 i think! then a week later bought steamboat,piper,savage with christmas money!

The Christmas I received a PS1 I also got the WCW Nitro video game. Not the best game but it was a blast hearing the themes and seeing the vignettes lol
A couple years later I was introduced to Jakks figures with the Hardcore Action ring. Massive upgrade from the old Power Rangers I had used in a secondhand Hasbro ring, and spent most of the next 24 hours doing matches with the included JR and Earl before I was able to get some actual wrestlers.

Once I reached the age of around 12 or so I had lost interest in action figures that weren't wrestlers. Every year I'd ask for them and every year I would have great mornings. Lots of love for the BCA line for these great Christmases.

Oh man...I think its gotta be the year I got the Hasbro ring and heaps of guys to go in there...Christmas 1991? Id never even seen it in the stores...yet here it was....good times. I cant remember too many of the wrestlers I got that Christmas but I remember Ultimate Warrior V2, Macho King & LOD were in there for sure...
think my Grandad O Rourke got me the WCW Galoob ring the Christmas after....man I loved that ring too.

Christmas 2004.
I'd saved my Woolies vouchers from my birthday, so I treated myself to a whole series of Classic Superstars (Series 4) and two Adrenaline packs from Series 12 - HHH/Batista and Mysterio/RVD. Then my Mum bought me Ruthless Aggression 10.5 JBL & Tajiri and my Uncle got me the Adrenaline Series 9 Rico/Charlie Haas and Ruthless Aggression 16 Undertaker.
One of my brothers also got me the Elimination Chamber playset (for the smaller ring) but it was so flimsy and wouldn't stay together, so both of my brothers (who are 10 and 7 years older than me) actually joined in and we created the Death Cage match (No rules, Hardcore match etc.) and put all of my new wrestlers in it. My eldest brother got a fog machine that year, and we tried it out to do Taker's entrance.

I had lots of great Christmas memories as a kid, but one that features wrestling which really sticks out to me is from Christmas 1996. I would have been 15 years old. Here in the UK we did not get In Your House until In Your House 13 Revenge of the Taker. So I had to make do with highlights on WWF SuperStars and the Silver Vision VHS tapes, which typically took around two to three months after an event to be released.
Well that Christmas, In Your House 10, 11 and King of the Ring 1996 were all waiting for me under the tree..... well on the big sofa as that was where my presents were always left. I was so excited to get the two In Your House tapes as well as King of the Ring 1996 which is still one of my all time favorite PPV events. That Christmas I also got WWF In Your House for the PlayStation. As someone who loved and I mean loved WrestleMania the Arcade game I could not have been any more excited to get this game. They had ads and an awesome preview in the WWF Magazine for this game so I was very excited. Even though he left, Warrior being in the game was awesome to me.
I got many other gifts that Christmas including Tomb Raider, Crash Bandicoot and best of all Die Hard Trilogy for the PlayStation. However, it was WWf In Your House for the PlayStation and King of the Ring 1996 that make this Christmas for me. It was long after Christmas dinner and I was in my room by myself, I think it was around 10 at night. I played through WWF In Your House so that I could see the "epic" full motion video endings of Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Ultimate Warrior and Ahmed Johnson. I then went downstairs, grabed some chocolate, some left over Christmas dinner and three Pepsis and went back up to my room and enjoed the hell out of King of the Ring 1996 into the wee hours of the morning.

2001 was the first Christmas I was really cognisant for so my parents went all out. They got me the WCW Nitro arena, the SmackDown Ovaltron, Backstage Mayhem and the Attitude ring as well as a Sting punching bag, WCW talking figures of Sting, Nash, Goldberg and DDP, a WCW Big Gold Belt toy, some TTLs and some loose Hasbros off eBay as stocking stuffers.
There's a photo on my hard drive of me and my grandad (who's no longer with us) playing with my new figures in the Attitude ring. I find it pretty hilarious since I've got a Hasbro Andre and he's got the massive talking Nash. Ah to be a kid and not care about the scale of my action figures like I do now lol.

2007- My first Christmas as a Wrestling fan. My brother got Smackdown vs Raw 2007 for Christmas in 2006, at the time i had no idea what it was. We had that sibling mentality of "This is mine you can't touch it" so i waited until he was out of the house one day to play it. Growing up on DBZ and Tekken games, i was instantly drawn to it and hooked. Then about 2 or so weeks later into early Jan 2007 he must have grown out of it or whatever, but it basically meant i could play it if i wanted to so i did. So my passion for Wrestling started there, and not even 2 months later i realised there were figures so i started to get my first bunch. Fast forward to Christmas 2007, I still remember what i got and how excited i was that morning to see the presents and some being shaped like figure boxes. So happy i still have these pics from that day, brings back so many memories. Easily my favourite Christmas. - Didn't get Sabu for Christmas, not sure why i added him in the pics - The Randy Orton that came with the Batista & Ring isn't in the pic - Also go the No Way Out 2007 Kane later on that day while visiting family

Christmas 1999 was really awesome. I remember getting the new BCA's Droz, Bob Holly, Kurrgan, Bossman, a few of the TTL's and the Titan tron Live entrance Stage along with WM 2000.
I also got the Maximum Sweat Kane and I couldn't wait to take his mask off to see what he looked like.
