Considering we're the Canada board, who else feels like we could talk about hockey a bit more? The NHL draft is tomorrow, is anyone here planning on watching? I'm a Canucks fan so I've been paying close attention to the OEL situation as well as our impending free agents. Who is your team and what are you excited for? I've pretty much given up on all sports. Will still watch the Leafs during playoffs though.

Stopped watching super closely when they lost the draft. Excited for hopefully Yzerman to right the ship. Hoping for a return to glory within 5-7 years.

Picked up Elite 75 Hurricane two days ago at TRU Markville. Wish I'd spotted the chase, but settled for the regular version since it was there. Also cashed out a Kurt Angle Shield Elite figure (it was $0.01, but they still sold it to me).

I'd buy that Angle for that price

Have we been getting wacky cases of E75? I noticed everyone found Hardy and Rollins consistently. I was in PEI this past weekend and checked out TRU on Thursday. Went back Saturday before I left and saw 3 new E75 Rollins, and only Rollins, on the pegs that weren't there Thursday. Are we just getting odds and ends?

Toysrus is getting full cases but they are getting cherry picked leaving only Rollins behind. It also seems people have been finding quite a few chase Hurricanes. I've seen multiple listings online and in Facebook groups. Funny thing is they are paying 21 plus tax and still charging 35 to 65

I grew up watching the Blackhawks with my grandpa but living in Ontario I hear so much about the Maple Leafs on the news I usually follow their adventures. Over the years they have built such a dynasty of ineptitude it's just fun to watch at this point. I know everyone thinks he's the numbers man that is going to solve this puzzle but Dubas comes off as a bland man that talks in buzzwords and tows the line to me. This upcoming season though the big question seems to be is Frederik Andersen really the guy to backstop this team to a cup? I think they need two real defencemen with one guy that will actually keep the puck possesion in his own end and the pressure off Andersen. Beyond that I didn't see them gettin much help in the draft. They picked a left winger first from Russia. I don't know much about him but his numbers looked prety good.

I still will say that the Leafs of the past few years are an infinite step up from the complete jokes they were when I was in high school. Hagman, Stajan, Antrapov, Ponikarovsky, Toskala, Finger, etc. Yuck.

That's what happens when the people who own the team have absolutely no interest in putting together a good team they make money regardless.

I'm not really a legends collector and didn't want anything from series 1. Glad we got series 2 because I wanted Eddie and Warrior

I was so happy to score this off our Canadian eBay site the other day. I never thought I would own this Seth Rollins figure being it was only out in the USA at Target, but being that I am a huge Seth fan, and knowing this was his first ever title win in the WWE, it was a must to own!
