I’m sad to see this. I ordered some non-WWE stuff from them a while ago and I couldn’t have been more satisfied. Hope you get this cleared up! I don't know but he's said several times that it's on Mattel and his distributor's end (with some blame on his part). He's been in buisness for years and all the other stuff he sells seems to come in with no problem. So it's not like he's running a scam or some kind of shell game with people's money. He's probably just sick of having to deal with Mattel and the impatience of collectors. I understand that we all want everything asap so we don't miss out and ringside has trained us this way by releasing things in advance but sometimes as my dad would say you just have to wait. It's not inpatients of collectors. Obviously we have been waiting patiently since the summer for these items. I seen some of the items I've ordered on the site at retail. So obviously one gets frustrated when this happens.

Toysrus is putting legends series in the flyer starting tomorrow. Good luck finding them and if you already have I hope you can price match if you still have your receipt.

Was at TRU today and nothing new whatsoever. They must be getting some new stuff for the Holidays right? Toysrus is putting legends series in the flyer starting tomorrow. Good luck finding them and if you already have I hope you can price match if you still have your receipt. That's exactly what I'm gonna do and I know I'll get my money back this time. Walmart still haven't gotten back to me about the AEW rollback...

He's probably just saying that to deflect blame from his mistakes. He has acknowledged that he placed the order late and incorrectly- how are Mattel at fault for that?!
If the distributor is part of the problem then he should look at finding another distributor or just order directly from Mattel.
Quite surprising to hear he has been in business for years, considering the way he treats his customers. Also, if he has been operating a collectibles store for years then he should know how to place an order properly and should be able to give customers an estimate of how long it will take for the items to arrive. Instead, he keeps customers in the dark and tells them that he has no clue when a product will arrive because his distributor doesn't give him any info- very unprofessional IMO. On top of that, he gets angry when you contact him to inquire about items you have purchased and paid for IN FULL IN ADVANCE. He is in dire need of some lessons on customer service IMO.
It sure looks like a scam, the way he operates. He demands full payment up front (does anyone else do this for pre-orders?!), keeps you in the dark about when an item will arrive, does not want you contacting him about your purchases and doesn't allow you to cancel an order going so far as threatening to charge a cancellation fee.
Sorry but it has been almost 4 months since I placed my order- how much longer should I be expected to wait for these items to arrive?! Don't you think that is an abnormal amount of time to wait for an order to arrive?! We are entering the holiday period and if these orders don't arrive within the next week then I don't think we will see anything until January at the earliest which would push things to around the 6 month period- HALF A YEAR to get product, that is inexcusable and unacceptable IMO. This guy should be bending over backwards to keep his customers happy and assure them that their products will arrive instead he gets defensive and blames customers for being impatient.

Went to TRU yesterday and they didn't have anything besides a couple of Top picks Seth Rollins.
I also haven't received anything from that site, I understand delays at the border because of covid but at this point it's beyond ridiculous. If nothing shows in a month I doubt we're getting anything.

Pretty lame that WWE Legends figures go on sale and TRU only has them in stock in two stores in all of BC. Kamloops and Nanaimo are the only places...yeesh.
And of course they aren't available online to purchase.
Gonna go in and raincheque these things just to be safe.

I wasn't being a jerk about things. Just explaining the way it is. There was no need to pull apart my entire post and dispute everyline. He has clearly been in buisness for years if you read all the glowing reviews on google or other review places you know this. I'm not defending anyone here just explaining that this all makes sense and he's clearly not running away with people's money. He demands the money up front becasue he is a small buisness and can't afford to be floating people money for orders that may canceled and leave him holding the bag for already ordered figures. I'm not going to go back and rebuttle everything you said because I said my peace in my first post but everything I said makes sense and there was no need for this post. I'm sorry if you guys haven't gotten your figures or money yet. edit-Just quickly I want to note that I have mentioned several times that I have never ordered from NMC which is partially true. I do have a standing order for some Super 7 figures that say they won't arrive for another year. So when I'm talking here it's not like he doesn't have my money too. And I'm almost a year out for my figures and I have faith.

Huh?
It seems you have misconstrued my comments- I was merely giving my opinion on some of the things you touched on about Northmen, my comments were not an attempt to badmouth you or what you posted.
I, like many others who have placed orders with this company are very frustrated that it has been months and we still have not received our orders and are frustrated at how this guy operates (does not offer any updates on when anything will arrive and gets angry with customers for merely asking about the status of their orders). I would like nothing more than to see him succeed as it would give us wrestling figure collectors another viable option for purchasing these Mattel figures that we like to collect. I hope he has strong nerves and good luck on his side because he is going to need it when dealing with Mattel and their shoddy distribution, which just seems to be getting worse and worse. I hope things work out in the end and everyone gets their figures and that the new stuff he has up for purchase arrives in a more timely manner. It would be great if he could pick up the legends line but I don't think his distributor has access to those waves?!

I thought maybe I was the one that came off as a jerk in my original post so you were just responding appropriately lol. I like to think of this place as a bit of a support group if anything so I was just trying to be helpful. It does suck though that people are still waiting on the Elite 77's when they have been so plentiful in store. I do agree though his customer service could be much better in this situation.

I remember the wock-out-wear guy being the same. You could email him 50 times and he wouldnt respond but he sure did respond when I put in a paypal claim. Funny how that works. I also waited until the absolute last day to put in a claim and he got mad because that was the day he refunded me and basically said I was hurting his business.

I didn't even know they were all up on the site. I was grabbing Warrior and checking out as fast as possible.

Not only did I miss out on them today on sale, but after calling 5 TRUs in the Vancouver area, NONE are showing any stock coming in at all. This seriously f****** blows. Meanwhile they're being scalped to all hell for 40 bucks and up online. I'm honestly about ready to give this hobby up. It shouldn't be this hard to find a bloody toy. Takes all the joy out of collecting completely.

I wrote this literally 5 minutes before they went back up on the website today "I'm still holding out hope of a Christmas miracle but it's almost like they don't want us to have the figures. I'm ready to pass on them.". I must have written at least 1 other similar messege (or more) about these Legends figures. It really is discouraging and takes the fun out the hobby. Hitting the pavement going out to a store (and even calling around a bit) can make things more fun at times but not when there is so little stock that you have no chance of finding them or they give you no other option since their website is so poor. I've been saying this since the beginning but I hope these are like the NXT set last year and by the end everyone will have gotten what they wanted and maybe even more due to Christmas sales.

Yeah honestly thank you for what you've been doing dude. Posting sightings on TRUs website each Friday as the Legends have dripped through to us has been much appreciated. I haven't been lucky enough to snag any of them but I'll keep my fingers crossed.
