WCW obviously got most of the formerly big WWF names by the mid-'90s, from Hogan to Savage to Duggan to Heenan to Piper to everyone in between. Even within the category of "patriotic character," they got Hogan and Duggan but not Sgt. Slaughter. I guess Bob Remus wanted to remain loyal to Vince. Imagine Slaughter does end up taking a fat contract in the early-to-mid '90s with WCW; how would you book him?

Slaughter was way past his prime when Vince brought him back to do the Iraqi sympathizer character in 1990 so I'm not really sure what he could have possibly offered WCW in 1994-1995.

Maybe a manager for Stars & Stripes?

Instead of Bagwell, he would've been the one paired with the Patriot.

WCW had a more realistic version of sgt slaughter in the mid 90s with sgt Craig Pittman. Slaughter was way past his prime and the GI joe franchise was dead at that time, so I don't see what he could've offered WCW.

WCW would have probably had him come in as a heel, and help Kevin Sullivan try to defeat Hulkamania. Then Hogan would have gotten the last laugh by beating Sgt. Slaughter on a PPV or Clash of the Champions show.
