I wouldn't be surprised for The Rock to make an appearance now.

My dad died three months ago and the grief is absolute torture. My heart goes out to and my thoughts are with The Rock and his mum; it doesn't matter whether you had time to prepare (I had ten months between my dad's diagnosis and death) or if it's a sudden shock, nor does it matter if you are in your forties like Rock or your twenties like me, the pain is excruciating and doesn't subside. Rock will still feel like a little boy when he compares himself to his dad.
RIP Soul Train.

Losing a parent turns you into a little kid again who just wants to feel their arms around them and some assurance that they're not going anywhere, but the one person who can give it to you is gone and not coming back. Keep your chin up.

I feel for his family. I hope he passed away peacefully. Atleast he went, knowing that his son is one of the most universally loved people there is, or has ever been. That must be nice to carry with you. Rest in peace.

Shame to hear. As other have said, it's never easy losing a parent.

Just glad he and Dwayne made peace with each other before he passed.

My condolences, deepest and most heartfelt condolences to The Rock and his family. I wouldn't be surprised if we do not see any of the Samoan dynasty on Smackdown Live or on RAW these next few days especially since Rocky was a part of their family.

I lost my dad in September of 2018. It's horrible to loose one of your parents Lost mine a month after yours. I took it rather well actually but everyone grieves differently I lost my dad April 2019...miss him every day but the time does heal, got over the heavy grieving late last year (I hope). There was once instance over the holidays where for a split second I thought I should give him a call to wish him Merry Christmas and quickly realized I couldn't.

Rocky was a fair worker. Very sad to hear the news.

I know it's been a few weeks, since the last post, but I came across this today, and thought it made sense more to post here instead of a new thread. It's a video the Rock posted, of his eulogy for his dad. Really is one thing to read the words, but to see him, giving his last goodbye to his dad, really does hit you. www.instagram.com/tv/B8SZSPGHgKx/?utm_source=ig_embed
