He managed Bam Bam Bigelow in the WCW in 1988 in his feud with Barry Windham.
Then he became Big Daddy Dink and along with DDP managed the Fabulous Freebirds in 1991 in WCW.

He was also in that short lived AWF promotion of the mid 90s which I actually didn't mind.

I think Hump could have had a better run in the WWF if they would have turned him and Bam Bam heel to go up against Hogan. I think that could have been a good main event for a PPV. But with the Andre heel run in full swing, no way.

I remember Humperdink also managing Orndorff towards the end of Paul's WWF run... Was there a story line about how Oliver became his manager, or did he just start showing up with him one day?

But with the Andre heel run in full swing, no way. I wonder if that was something they thought about. In early 1988, at the house shows, Bam Bam and Hogan teamed up a lot. That's usually how a feud with Hogan begins, you start out his friend then you turn on him (Orndorff, Andre, Savage, and Sid). Tugboat too, thank goodness Sarge showed up.
