It was in Glen Falls, NY. Enjoy.. Thanks for sharing. Amazing how hot the crowd was, it was probably one of the worst matches I have seen.

The whole rumble was just to further set up the Savage/Hogan angle and it served it's purpose. I didn't mind Studd going over but I think at that time a lot of the newer audience didn't know much about Studd. It was weird to see the roles reversed with him and Andre. I kinda would have liked Studd and Andre to be a tag team instead of foes again. Imagine having Bundy come back and all three of them managed by Heenan. That would have been a hell of a trio of heels to deal with.

Sorry for bumping but I just watched this event and something always bothered me about Dibiase at this event.
When he draws his number he reacts like he drew a terrible number and brings Slick in to ask what the Twin Towers drew. Some funny business takes place. Dibiase gets 30 and the Twin Towers end up with back to back numbers 22 and 23.
Obviously both sides are happy in that deal but are we supposed to buy the fact Dibiase is dropping bills because 22 or 23 is a terrible draw? Was 30 the only acceptable number for him? If so, why wouldn't Dibiase work out deals prior to even drawing his number knowing he was unlikely to draw 30.
Obviously I know it fits his character but it always irked me when I rewatch this event.

I was a hogan fan but he should never have even been in a rumble imo so I’m glad he didn’t win this one. Studd winning sucked though and made the whole thing anti-climactic. DiBiase should have won
Just want to mention how great Dibiase was in RR90 entering #1 and not eliminated until some 20+ other guys got in

Folks wanted Hogan to win the RR BAD....when he didn't the air kinda got sucked outta it. Basically the Rumble was used as a vehicle to further the Mega Powers rift( which is fine) & after that Vince didn't give a crap who won it. I found it strange Warrior wasn't in this RR to win it....He was already Vince's project. If he had won this and then dropped to Rude at WM5? Man oh man that would have been even more shocking. Honestly Warrior shoulda won the 90 Rumble, Hogan shoulda won 89.

For me Warrior should have won 89 & I still let Hogan win 1990 because he was dropping the title to Warrior after all & taking a hiatus after so give him something.

I think there were still tweaking the rumble idea therefore an obscure win at the time. Studd was returning and there may have been long term plans with Andre. Storyline wise it makes sense not for Hogan or Macho to win.
