Mousetrap. It's a game that nobody knows the rules to, they just play with the contraption.

Does Guess Who count as a board game? Second choice goes to Cluedo.

Monopoly all the way, as long as I don't have to be the banker.

Mancala, oddly. I enjoyed Scrabble, Clue, and Monopoly more, but I played a metric ton of Mancala growing up so probably that.

Involves moving seeds (because that was the easiest thing people could use as tokens) around a board with eight or ten impressions in the board, plus two banks on either end of the board. Person with the most seeds in their bank when all the seeds have been put into banks wins. I played with crappy gemstones because that's what the game comes with now. It's a really simple game. There's rules you can add for difficulty, but it's mostly about picking the right patch of seeds on your turn, and trying to prevent your opponent from banking as much as possible while accumulating your own.

It's easy to learn, and as long as you can count to 10 and 40 you'll be set. Great game for kiddos.

Between the options I love Clue and Trivia Pursuit. Even love the movie adaptation of Clue, and video game versions of a Trivia Pursuit

Sorry!
I can use it as an apology and an insult in the game 😈

Would vote for Monopoly but it is already winning (as it should be) so I gave my runner up choice Life a pity vote.

Stratego ...why isn’t checkers or chess on this?..and Yahtzee and jenga I don’t consider board games I played a lot of Stratego in my early teens. Awesome game. Goddamn bombs. I'm old though now so, Scrabble it is.

Figure I'll add one I've taken up playing online and learning due to quarantine. Go. Pretty solid.

Taken up Ticket To Ride lately. That's excellent and has the benefit of 2-player options for me and my wife when we aren't having company.

Risk.
I do enjoy Yahtzee, but I don't know if that actually counts. Dice and a score sheet doesn't count I don't think lol. There's no actual board!

I've never actually played the original Monopoly. Just the NFL version and it's from 1998
