Okay, I am REALLY pissed off. One of my Sideshow Collectibles 12" X-Files figures just came in the mail and I removed his shirt and tried it on a different figure. This shirt is black and some of the black has rubbed off on to the noses and hands of the figures!!!!!! How ing cheap is this? One of these figures is going for $200 on ebay right now and is 1 of 500! I tried using baby wipes to get this stuff off, it doesn't work. I'd use nail polish remover but I'm afraid that'll take some paint off with it. Should I try boiling them? Any suggestions?

Nobody has any suggestions?
Not even an idea of what to do if this happened to a wrestling figure?

If the figures face isn't painted, (if the plastic is flesh colored) use rubbing alcohol, mercurichrome (sp?) or paint remover. But be careful! If that doesn't work, call a hobby shop or collectibles store. They might be able to help.

maybe dumb, but try with an eraser? Not that dumb. . . .it's worked for me in the past with different figs. Another idea, if nothing else works, is to try acetone from a hardware store. I'm talking a super-diluted amount, wiped very gently on the fig. Just enough to barely get the job done. . .any real amount will take everything off.
