Wrestlemania season is upon us and with that comes lots of opportunities for fans to meet wrestlers from all brands of pro wrestling. I'm curious to know what type of paint pens people here on the forum have used to get autos on replica belts and figures and what looks good. From oil base vs acrylic vs water base, to fine too vs medium tip, and finally brand. I would love to hear it. Me personally, I've tried decocolor and unipaint paint markers in medium and fine tip. Overall not bad but wish I had used medium over fine as that auto came out thin and streaky and was a deco. My other gripe was a silver medium unipaint that had a little bit of smearing.

We have a nearly 500 page stickied autograph thread in case you want to use it as a resource for stuff like this in the future.
My preference for autographs is generally a silver Sharpie. They are easy to find, cheap, a good size, dry fast, and are pretty bold against any non-white background.

I can't imagine there being a bad paint pen just be careful about the tip I had an odd shaped one with a flat edge like a calligraphy pen and Diesel's signature looks awful was going to sell the figure but it's so chunky it doesn't look right

This is a simple answer: Sharpie oil-based medium point paint pens. Find them at any Michaels craft store, Amazon, etc. Look great and dry quickly. I've used Deco's before and while they can look great, I absolutely had a bad smudge experience with them because they take longer to dry.
Whatever you do, don't use a normal sharpie on a figure. They're fine for 8 x 10's but look terrible on plastic bubbles for figures.
EDIT: I see you mentioned belts too. From what I've seen, silver or gold sharpie (non-paint) works best on those. I usually just get figures signed.
