i've found every target exclusive series rather easily. took a few trips, but i still found what i wanted...and the rest of each series. i'm not at all worried about finding this one. edit: and honestly, i've only even justified each trip with the fact i needed to buy something else. "crap, i'm almost out of toothpaste. well, i'll go to target...maybe network spotlight diesel will be on the pegs." and sure enough, there he was The thing is, that's the thing, if you are in certain regions of the country? You're golden...it's easy. If you are in others, you're completely ed and going in for months to the same basics and straggler Elites, and then a disheartening restock of an ancient set from over a year ago.

The exclusive thing continues to irritate but it may be their best option for now.
Near me the last few sets of Target exclusives have been easy/medium to find so hopefully that continues. Want Razor and Weasel Heenan

People on this site, myself included, have been begging for a Greg Valentine for years. Every year Greg the Hammer is highly discussed and the SDCC thread is full of people hoping they'll finally reveal it. I'm thrilled that they're making the figure, but TOTAL 100% BS that it's in an exclusive line.

If target and Walmart wants these exclusive figures as bill has stated before then target and walmart should do a better job of distributing them. If not mattel should tell them that they want do Exclusives anymore.

Target sucks and I have no confidence but I did get Royal Rumble macho king on eBay for $35 so I think I’ll get my hammer one way or the other. I want 2, maybe I’ll only end up with 1

If not mattel should tell them that they want do Exclusives anymore. When Walmart and Target want exclusive figures, they also pay Mattel for it. Mattel isnt going to say no to money, no matter how bad of a job Walmart and Target do of distributing and stocking their exclusives.

Need that Valentine. Will never see him. Don’t live near any Targets. Saving up to buy from ebay.

Mattel is not going to destroy their relationships with the biggest retailers just because of kids having a tantrum on the Internet.

If target and Walmart wants these exclusive figures as bill has stated before then target and walmart should do a better job of distributing them. If not mattel should tell them that they want do Exclusives anymore. Mattel's WWE line has two whole feet of modular space in most Target and Wal-Mart stores following the most recent reset. That's not even a full section of gondola space, and it's perfectly indicative of the value that the stores are placing on the product. Mattel pulling the exclusive rug out from the retailers would basically be asking the retailers, oh so kindly, to just take that last grasp of space that their product is clinging to and give it to someone else in the next cycle. Wal-Mart and Target handily survive without WWE action figures. The struggle for WWE action figures to survive is exponentially more difficult in the absence of Wal-Mart and Target.

This is why I’m nervous about the Legends line. This is how 4 Targets around my area have looked since before December. So it’s cool you all can find stuff but there’s a lot more places out there that look like this than the handful of stores that’s you can actually find stuff in.

Being exclusive was a reason why the original Legends line failed (though that wasn't store exclusive, it just wasn't available in the UK, unless bought online). Distribution is not good IMO & making them exclusives is going to sour regular consumers who are outside of the States. Not the best business move IMO. That's just how I feel personally.

Looks like the 5 targets near me except mine downsized to 2 feet.

My Target still has HOF Diesel with Toy Biz Scott Hall head on it. I'd post the pic of how ridiculous it looks, but you know...TOS.

I work near the Target in Manhattan on 34th street. Hopefully they have them there. Is a release date known at this point?

Here’s a picture of the Instagram post when I asked about it. Let’em dig their own grave. The legends line will last a few series, then it will go in the infamous “hiatus” because the sells weren’t good enough. Think they would have learned by now. None of these lines are meant to be long term except the core lines. Retail stores want exclusives and want to change them up every so often. Nothing is “failing” because sales aren’t good enough, stores just want change.

YAY! Can't wait to pay $80 for Razor! Can't wait to pay $80 for more store exclusives that international collectors either don't get or barely get! #internationalcollectorswantthesefigurestoo It’s the pain of collecting a toy line from a different country
