Lol sorry, yes they charge upfront. But, this locks you in, where other companies do preorders and fulfillment based on first come first served. I personally don't see anything to be happy about paying upfront, for something not available until July. If they offered a deposit option it would be better. This is why I only pre-order with Amazon, and sites that don't charge until the product is shipped/ready to be shipped. If I pay full price for something now, I want it now - I'm not waiting five months to receive it.

RSC takes orders and charges that way they know how much to order and immediately ship, and how much to have in-stock for sale based off sales.

This makes zero economic sense, unless you had planned on investing that $140 and actually achieving some growth off it between pre-order time and the time the figures are actually available.
