I haven't been back on the forum in a while but I am trying to understand why we haven't had a proper Naomi yet in ring attire since her Team Bad days? Its great that Mattel has been pushing so many new faces in the Basic and Elite line but it took forever to get a Naomi figure in wrestling gear to begin with and it seems like she is the only top talent female that hasn't gotten a proper update for Feel the Glow gimmick.
Some may argue that she is not "top talent" but from a marketing perspective, WWE puts her in almost all of their promotional material and she gets good pops when she makes her entrance. She is also a 2x SD champ and winner of first Wrestlemania battle royal.
Has there been any comment on this by Mattel Design Team?

I hate that Walgreen's bungled their line so bad. That planned Naomi was sweet. Went on the auction place to get her B55 figure secondhand, which is my favorite of her Mattel has done so far. Hopefully the 'fro comes out soon!

I'd only want it if it came with the glow belt.
Shes had 4 figures. Funkadactyls 2 pack, I think there was a yellow one, the team bad look and the "feel the glow" shirt one.
Unless we get that now verrrrry outdated title, id rather get a first toni storm, io shirai, or a proper main line liv Morgan.

well you answered your own question with the whole top talent thing. She's just "a hand" like most of the other women on the roster. There's the top 5-7 and then there's all the filler. Shes in the filler. They'll get to her when they get to her.

Alicia Fox has the same amount of figures and even a recently updated one, despite not even being the company anymore (From what I understand).
Naomi is far more popular so you’d think eventually she’d get an updated figure. I personally would love to see her Rumble look from this year.

Roster is big. A lot of the spots that would have been midcarder updates in 2012 would now go to first time NXT/205 figures.
She was supposed to have an elite in the Walgreens line that got cancelled.

A glow in the dark Naomi figure would be great and she's pretty over so I don't get why she hasn't been made.
She's had the glow look for 4 years now so it's long overdue.

Got bored of waiting for an Elite Naomi so I just swapped the feel the glow basic head (green tips in hair) onto her team bad basic figure, will have to make do for now, was really hoping for that Elite that got cancelled.

Theres still time to make another figure of her. Shes not leaving anytime soon.
She has a great look still, so a glow in the dark version can still be released with a new attire.

I have to believe they were looking for a place to put her, and it probably takes close to a year as they have line ups scheduled and in production long before they hit warehouses. That’s about the time she got injured right? Then she’s back for a while and goes on a strange hiatus not long after that? If my memory is good and everything I just typed is correct, can you imagine how hard it would be for Bill and Co to get her placed? |

I’m going to say it has to do with her constantly being on and off tv.
Seems like she disappears off tv for months at a time every year.
Maybe they don’t have faith in her being on tv when the figure hits shelves.

It was announced nearly 2 years ago ffs. Even since the Walgreens line went belly up, during all of the time since we have now got both Bella's in elite form that not a single person asked for, one with a chase. We got a liv elite, a Sonya elite, Baszler, 2 Sashas with a RSC exclusive due, Kairi, Asuka etc... the list goes on.
In all that time since the line was cancelled there was nowhere to put a glow naomi? Bill couldn't put a single naomi anywhere in the nearly 2 years since the original fig was announced? Not even as a collectors exclusive in one of the series of the main elite line?
Even the glow attire choice was crap compared to the colourful ones she has worn.

If she was in NXT and in the main event of every pay per view like Black and Dunne she would have two or three figures by now.
