So after Revolution, what would be your predictions for the next in line to the thrones?
I'm personally going with:
Tag Team Titles: Private Party. -- I think the setup from BTE with Page and Private Party, and the fact that PP have been away from TV largely for a while and away from the title picture make this really likely. (I expect they've also been working very very hard behind the scenes. It's been clear since day 0 they have incredible talent but are very young, which we were told when they were signed) I think they take the title off Page/Omega since they've also beaten the Bucks, they did the BTE stuff with Page, and they would be a perfect 'tweener' team to lose to Santana & Ortiz shortly after. I'm going to say this win comes @ DON 2. Sooner rather than later to let them continue both Hangman & Omega's stories after the belt loss.
Women's: Shida. I think Britt will have her time as well, but Britt taking it off Nyla would be very weird, and Shida is the best female wrestler they have. I'm so glad Nyla is getting a run. She's kind of awful in the ring, but I'm all for representation, and to me the indigenous champion matters more than the transgender champion, though I'm totally down for both. That being said Nyla is kind of (ok, really) awful in the ring, and shouldn't really hold the belt all that long. Shida needs to take this thing and make the women's division far more respected. I expect this one to happen on an episode of dynamite or a Fyter Fest/Fight for the Fallen esque show that they've hinted at wanting to do again. I think Nyla's reign length is 100% determined by their ability to get a few more women ready to create a steady division. Having the big brute hold the title in the meantime is a good call.
Men's: PAC. I think this goes 1 of 2 ways. PAC wins it very soon, like DON 2 or All Out 2 soon, or it potentially takes until at least next year's revolution. PAC & Moxley had a time limit draw ages ago, so they've already set that precedent. PAC has been playing a very similar role to Mox in the disgruntled employee fashion, but losing his rubber match to Omega, and struggling with OC (who will get his own time to shine, but he's a sloth so lets not get carried away here), he has to prove himself again first. They either have PAC take a very long road there (perhaps with a big Lucha Bros + PAC vs. Best friends feud stalling), or have him rise quickly and dethrone Mox. Either way I think he's the next one to take it. I don't expect them to always alternate Heel/Face since they are going to play a lot of grey areas, but I think those grey areas start to show up when Page/Omega are ready to have a big main event title feud. I could see PAC taking the title soon to set that up faster. Page/Omega are both ready for singles title feuds, and Mox does not need a belt to draw at all. He needed the belt to make the following champion defeat someone younger that 50, and quite frankly, to tell his past employers to shove it.
Just my thoughts, I'm very curious to hear everyone else's predictions!
