He wasn't wearing his toe boots. Great character. Great tag team.
My only problem is Jake himself. Eventually I want managers to take bumps. I don't see that being possible with him. Arn Anderson took a kick and fell over at the PPV and I thought they were going to need to stretcher him out.
I think it's because of the high flying aspect of the company. The more guys you have catching you the safer you are. The safer you are the more you can do. I agree though, I'd prefer more singles matches too.
I've enjoyed some of the women's matches here and there, but as a whole the division dull.
When he mentioned "Christopher Daniels almost dies" I laughed. The Exalted One story is starting to feel like they booked it months ago without actually coming up with a conclusion.
I like his agility, I think it looks awkward sometimes though because he seems really slow.
I don't know how agile you think people are making out to be. I always thought Mike Awesome was the most agile big guy. Guys like Taker could do the suicide dive over the top. I don't remember seeing a lot of guys slingshotting (is that a word?) themselves onto the top rope, standing there for a few seconds, and then diving over the guardrail into the crowd like Mike could. At the same time though, I never saw Awesome do a step up suicide dive over the top like Luchasaurus did.
During the Monday Night Wars I f*cken hated Schiovane. When I read a few years ago that he was working at Starbucks I thought it was hilarious. Her bringing him his Starbucks coffee always gets a smile from me. I think she's better on the mic than most of the women so they're letting her talk and the others wrestle.
Allin's promos are usually darker, but that doesn't always equal good. I thought this one was an example of that.
I don't see a positive for anyone in this faction. The Lucha Bros. don't need a 3rd wheel, and Pac doesn't need backup. I don't want to see endless 6 man tags. I also don't want to see Pac at ringside while Pentagon and Fenix are having tag matches, or them at ringside when he's having singles matches.
This was a bad idea.
It looked like another botch during a pin attempt. They've had a few problems with this.
Seems like a 2 hour episode of Dynamite flies by compared to Raw where time appears to stand still at times.
With COVID picking up steam I'm doubting it will happen. Other sports considered playing in empty arenas. With wrestlers calling spots in the ring and no crowd noise to hide it I think it would be a disaster.
Out of curiosity has anyone been paying attention to the beer Hangman has been drinking from fans? Seems like a bad idea.
