Hello everyone, I know awhile back we discussed a BTE thread, but it never popped off, so why don't we start now with a thread for all the AEW vlogs shenannigans, and hopefully we can get a fairy succint summary for what happens each show, as far as updates, to keep the folks that don't watch informed.....and for all the funny comments and anecdotes that go along with these genius programs. I know BTE just released, and I am juat diving in, but oh how I love the fact that Boom Boom keeps ruining Omega's shots. Feud for sure. Cartoon deathmatch anyone? Sammy G's I watched the other day, and he is a maestro at the comedy, especially with misnaming people, but Marko steals that show 100%, and the camera sometimes  Sammy G's personality shines in this show, and how he enlists fans to take him to get his bang energy drink in a new city is a trip. And if you didn't know...Rick Knox pops up in these with his shennanigans, and it is gold. I didn't get to summarize anything, only my commentary so far, so hopefully someone of this amazing AEW board could remember better than me what all transpired. Cheers all. VPV |

Just watched the newest BTE. This is pretty much a must see episode. There's 2 scenes that address the post-match almost angle from the tag title match Revolution. I really dig the additional content for the Elite-Hangman story.
Also, there's a very blatant Revival reference....

I feel like the need to decide on whether or not Being The Elite is canon to Dynamite storylines. They stated in the past that you don't need to watch BTE to understand storylines on Dynamite but I feel like the show really fleshes out ideas. They even used BTE footage in the package for Bucks vs. Kenny/Hangman. I think they need to decide on if it's mandatory viewing to keep up with storylines or not. I think that's something they need to address. Because I have people in my household that watch Dynamite and not BTE, and I feel like I have to explain BTE to them so they can keep up.
I like the idea of Cabana just appearing in shots. It feels very much like his rejected pitch from WWE. Colt had said he pitched an idea where on Smackdown, Scotty Goldman could be seen every episode. Whether in the background of interviews, seeing him walking during a segment, even in the crowd. He wanted to do a Where's Waldo gimmick with himself and see if people online could spot him. Feels very much like that!
I love the gimmick of Avalon bringing up how many losses Brandon has, only for Brandon to point out Avalon has more. Peter sells it perfectly! Really enjoying his segments.

I think we should refer to him and Matt as the Coffee Bros...until further time that someone can come up with a far more clever name, cause I'm not that clever I didn't see that full match, but interesting notes, and makes more since with context now. For those that don't watch: seeds of discord are being sowed with hangman thinking about buckshotting kenny at the end vs a 3 superkick party against him being pondered. Librarian vs Cutler/Nak for the battle of who has the worst record is continuing...it is pretty good stuff (but i like ppa so i am biased) Hangman sang some song, was it the Dixie Chicks song he wants for a special entrance? Was there meaning? Other than Matt having his 25th bday, and Boom Boom vs Omega's spotlight, that is all I can remember. Good ep. |

I watch every Road To, BTE, Sammy VLog.. and anything else on Youtube related to AEW by their account or the TNT one. For people not watching, I can completely understand how some things might not make 100% sense, which sucks. They give you enough on Dynamite & Dark to get by, but truthfully, these shows (not so much Sammys) include some stuff that ties a lot of stuff together. That said, I really enjoy Sammy's Vlog. He comes across as a dude who really is just, f'n lucky to be in the spot he's in and though he plays this smackable douche on tv, irl he's humble as  . Really a big fan of his. |

Colt Cabana is a great add to BTE.
Based off of this and the previous BTEs, I think there might not be a blow up between Hangman and the Elite. There's a lot to this story and I really like it.

Team High Risk actually are entertaining too. It's kinda funny, they get super squashed.. or they bust out some sick high risk stuff that REALLY surprised me.

High risk was a great find for these segments, they've been hilarious and awesome.
I loved Scorpio just going and starting to shoot some hoops once he got knocked out of the battle royale.

The white Toyota that got a free show on part 1 was hilarious as well. They are DAMN lucky I don't live in their neighborhood, I'd be there for every taping.

Part three was short but fun. Loved the scurll, flip, and fat ass cameos. Colt was hilarious as always.

I didn’t even realize it was Marty at first with that lack of beard, but it was great to see him have a part as well as Flip and Masa. Pretty enjoyable episode all around to build to the match.

Someone on youtube had mentioned that it would have been a trip to have dr. britt baker at a ouija board talking to someone "dead", and his thoughts on the match...bay bay.
