In an interview with Nos Cayó La Noche in Mexico, Alberto Del Rio commented on possibly making a comeback in WWE. Here is what Del Rio said courtesy of SEScoops.com:
“We have been in communication. We have rebuilt the bridge. On their part, they were wrong on some decisions and I also did some things wrong on my part. I am hoping that we can reach an agreement sometime this year or by the middle of this year I’ll be back there."
Dear God, no! I was a fan of his when he first debuted, but it's clear he doesn't have it to make it to that level WWE wanted him to be at. Plus, he's proven, especially during that last run, when he was with Paige, that he's a pretty big garbage person as well.

I always liked Del Rio, but there's no denying he's made some bad choices. But if he's got his s*** together, I wouldn't be against a final run.

He placed nearly all his troubles in his last run on Paige and her family. Got way more pushes than any nearly any other person of his period, and still couldn't draw a dime. But Vince always seems to be a fan, I suppose the first Latino wrestler he's seen that isn't a midget.

I honestly don't believe this. He's said stuff like this before. I think he's just trying to make it seem like people are interested in him. I doubt WWE actually has any plans to bring him back. Especially how he handled the Paige stuff, blaming HHH and all that.

One of the most boring and unmarketable wrestlers I can remember. Remember meeting him at a Toys R Us signing and he was completely rude.

I think he's spreading his own rumors to keep his name relevant. Just like Enzo.

he was a good character, and he worked the classic heel house match style well, but in today’s standards he’s a really bland wrestler. I would not be interested in seeing him return.

Del Rio received constant main event pushes and title remains, but was never able to be a big draw.
His initial run was okay, but he is just somebody I'm not clamoring to see again in the WWE. Most of the roster is stuck in midcard purgatory anyway.

No thank you, id rather see Ricardo Rodriguez come back than Del Rio. Guy was about as bland as it came. Never really got big heat as a heel, never really got big cheers as a face, he was always kind of a guy that was just there. But for some reason constantly got the push from Vince time and time again. 4 time world Champ, rumble winner, money in the bank winner, and honestly can't think of anything he ever did that was that memorable.

Always liked Del Rio but he's his own biggest fan which he proved last time he left the company with some of the crap he was spouting.
Besides they already have "Mexican sensation" projects with Carillo, Garza and Andrade.

After all the negative things he’s said about the wwe, it’s better off without him. Unless it’s him and triple h in a mma fight.

We're good without Mexican MJF Prototype.

I'd rather see Roman squash every champion and win every title in the main event of a WrestleMania held is Lafayette Louisiana, than see Del Rio back.
Him and Rybotch can stay as far away as possible.

Last time he returned and shockingly took the US title from Cena is such an underrated moment.
