Oh yay, more second tier castaways added to the roster. And yay, another "shot" at old Vince McMahon by a barley good indy worker. Oh and yay! A played out gimmick that was fun three years ago, not bad two years ago, getting boring one year ago, and could not care less yesterday ago. Hardy is 45 years old. Where is everyone crying that he is going to be taking one of the younger workers spot? Brodie Lee is 40. Same with him. I was getting to like AEW because what they are doing with the younger workers. But now it's just the same ol with them putting all the older workers in main event spots. But I forgot! It's AEW. ThEY RuuuuuuLEZZ!!! lol

very fun episode, which is crazy because they turned a huge weakness (no audience) into a positive by approaching it uniquely.
memorable night.

This show was as normal as it possibly could be given the circumstances. I’m gonna be pretty bummed if they’re not able to have the show next week, this week made me not care that there’s no fans and I want to see Blood & Guts. I was spoiled on the debuts of Brodie Lee and Matt Hardy beforehand, so I would’ve enjoyed even more if I didn’t know, but the Hardy reveal was really cool.

ThEY RuuuuuuLEZZ!!! lol relax, they just made their debut. Brodie is in a position that "leads" younger guys almost exactly like jericho is doing with the inner circle. Once this elite thing with matt is over he will probably slide into a similar position, to make stars and help them become something. Does hardy or even brodie for that matter have anything left to prove? not really they've made it to the top and stayed there for years. AEW is still a growing company, stars aren't going to be made over night. But these vets like jericho are what help the company stay familiar to new fans coming in while at the same time helping the new faces become relevant and recognizable. Do you think sammy would be as notable if he wasn't in the inner circle and was pushed by jericho? Probably not.. Wrestling fans and patience don't go together well. But completely agreed. I don't know where this idea that 40 is old came from - maybe from pro sports? Hogan turned 40 in 1993. Taker and HBK in 05. Flair in '89. Obviously they're main eventers who were well established, but there's no reason to think that someone like Hardy or Brodie don't have some good years left in them. It was only a couple years ago that Luke Harper was nearly in a Wrestlemania world title match, and undoubtedly the hottest act in the Wyatt/Orton storyline. Wrestling is fake. Who gets pushed or doesn't get pushed isn't an indicator of talent or ability. Hardy is an established name that has credibility with more mainstream wrestling crowds, and does amazing character work. I wouldn't be surprised to see Jeff join him when his deal is up. He's an experienced talent that can be a huge asset to put over young upper-mid card talent, and help some of the younger talent build their characters. Lee is a big man who can absolutely go in the ring. That's an area AEW has been lacking from day 1. These are familiar, established faces. That matters if they want to grow their audience. And you need established talent so the younger workers can continue to learn, develop, and be put over by people further up the food chain. These additions don't take anybody's "spot." The roster was always expected to grow. They've done an awesome job taking acts that were literally unknown and making them into legitimate players. But added depth is absolutely positive and necessary as the product continues to grow.

Also keeping in mind that they plan on bringing a second show to TV, expanding the roster will only make that show better. It will eventually turn into almost like a raw/smackdown. Although I hope they don't separate rosters like WWE

This was actually the first show I watched since their first few episodes and I'm honestly glad I tuned in. They really nailed the whole crowdless arena aspect which I admittedly would have given them a pass on if they didn't. It's not an easy feat.

I seriously don’t understand anyone’s problem with AEW at all. It’s honestly refreshing to see something I can actually enjoy watching. Too many people think too hard about what’s in front of them, and worrying about something that’s not their. Enjoy it for what it is, and be happy that throughout this ongoing crisis that we can still enjoy some sort of sport!

A good portion of the detractors have anointed themselves the duty to mirror the crowd they deem to be "Never Vincers". They seek to put AEW down in the same fashion they feel the "smarks" put the 'E down.

By comparison, Vince is cluster-f**king his way through his biggest show of the year. I find AEW refreshing and refuse to watch anything Vince has his fingerprints on. I love wrestling, not sports entertainment.

I do, however, find myself enjoying AEW more at the current moment. But, I won’t ever stray away from WWE either, as it’s a company I’ve grown up watching. Either way, everything’s enjoyable and it’s a shame we can’t appreciate what we’ve got in front of us

I bailed on WWE when they started hoarding guys and doing nothing with them. That has decimated the world wide independent scene. It's so frustrating to see the talent they have signed and wasting them. I'm happy some are getting paid crazy money though.

I wish Pillman Jr and Davey Boy Jr would sign onto AEW. Maybe its because of Teddy, I'm not too sure. I know Pillman was in the battle royal. Hart Foundation vs Rhodes brothers would be a cool Tag Title feud.

As long as he could show he would not start anything backstage then it would be cool.
