Definitely SSeries. Loved Diesel/Bret in the main event. Diesel snapping post match was well done.

Definitely one of the weakest years in WWF/E history, a lot of the PPVs were not good, probably the worst Rumble in history - IMO the worst of the 90s. I have to go with the Survivor Series out of these.

Well itโs definitely not Wrestlemania 11! Every time I think about that show I think of Roddy Piper yelling โWhat do ya say?!โ
Iโve gotta go with Survivor Series.

I really disliked the introduction of the In Your Houses in 1995. I only ever got 3 on PPV between 1995 and stopping PPV purchases in 2002 so that shows how much they meant. WWF should have just given the fans a break, brought back the Saturday Night Main Event for free TV. Most bigger matches were PPV quality but add in the lower card and it definitely makes for more of a free show. Fatu, Hunter Heart Helmsley, Henry Godwinn type of guys were definitely not PPV worthy at the time unless part of a Survivor Series or Royal Rumble type show.

Every one of those shows was a stinker, but survivor series wins by default

Iโve gotta go with Survivor Series. I like when Piper asked Backlund if he wanted to give up and Backlund screamed no!, then Piper turned around and asked Hart if he wanted to give up even though he had the submission hold on Backlund, if I remember correctly you hear Hart chuckle. Only good part about that match.

Royal Rumble hands down!
We get Jarrett vs. Ramon for the IC Title.
IRS vs. Undertaker
Tatanka & Bam Bam Bigelow vs. 123 Kid and Bob Holly for the Tag Titles
Diesel vs. Bret Hart for the WWE Title
Shawn Michaels winning the Royal Rumble
The best PPV of that year was the first PPV of that year!

To me it's 99 but I can see the argument with this one that's for sure haha I am mainly referring to just the Rumble match itself, it was just too fast-paced with the 1 minute intervals. Plus, a lot of guys didn't last long in the match, I believe Owen, who was one of the top names in the match, only last a couple of seconds. And, you had a lot of no-names and lower card guys in the match (a far cry from the early 90s Rumble matches) which made it feel unimportant. If it weren't for Davey and HBK it would have been a complete bore.

Survivor Series for me. The main event is freaking awesome. Whe people always talk about Austin, HBK and Owen as Brets best opponents. He had great chemistry with Diesel as well. I actually liked most of the matches on this show. I vividly remember that awesome top rope power bomb Jannetty did.
I also really liked the 95 Rumble, but hated the end. British Bulldog looked like such a freaking moron.

Only highlight from me from KOTR was the Philly crowd chanting ECW

You should have included the in your house ppvs. Those were pretty good minus the October one. Out of the list survivor series 95 is the best. Itโs too bad the Royal Rumble match in 95 wasnโt great because that was an otherwise decent show.

It's crazy how low on talent this Royal Rumble was. It wasn't the wrestlers fault because of a lot of them were good but just the gimmicks they were given were awful. Guys like Heavenly Bodies usually made a PPV to fill the numbers, Mo hadn't been on a PPV for months, Rick Martel was an alternate, Kwang hadn't made a PPV since the last Rumble. Others that were once popular were on the way down the card like Bushwhackers and Headshrinkers so they were no longer as over. What sticks out with me the most is how surprised Vince McMahon was to see Crush. It was like he forgot Crush was still on staff and someone just added his name to make up the numbers. I also think it shows how low the roster was having to use Lawrence Taylor. Also I feel it didn't make much sense to have him at a Florida show. I think he lived there but it would have been much more over if it had been in New York or Jersey. I know adults knew he was but as a kid the only non wrestlers I knew were on shows before or after wrestling (Bonanza, Murder She Wrote) so his involvement just didn't interest me.
