That MJF/Jungle Boy match was great,might even put it into the top ten AEW matches of all time(I know not saying a lot as the company is a year old)but again great showing by both and a sign of things to come from both men in the coming years,would have been even better with a crowd.
As far as Cody being the 1st TNT Champion makes all the sense in the world,he along with the Bucks are basically the spokes men of AEW and are the main driving forces for the company in and outside of the ring.He's really good as a PR guy and also has the talent in the ring,legacy and the look to help establish a new title and a title that is carrying the name of a major network.I would hope the end game plan for Cody as TNT champion is to give him a long reign maybe even a year and have him drop it to Darby Allin,who finally beats Cody and also wins the title.

also apparently the belt will be plated in gold but it wasnt ready yet How was it “not ready”? It’s not like this idea was thrown together last week. Just more amateur results from these guys. I don’t get it. Maybe covid-9 had something to do With the delay? Weird it wasn't ready with the amount of time AEW knew about the TNT tournament. |

Theirs a reason why he's fallen down the card pretty fast in AEW,basically only got a short push for a one off match with Cody(who's a buddy of his) and that was basically it.He'll never be a real factor in the main event or mid card scene.
