I really hope this show gets to happen. By May 23 I hope us Americans and wrestling fans can have a show to smile at and cheer loud and proud in person.

Good god I hope so. That crowd will be absolutely insane. Permanent hearing damage insane.

here in Canada we’ve cancelled all major events until the end of June. May 23rd seems too soon but let’s hope.

End of May is still too optimistic. I can see them pushing it back to June or July.

This is starting the become a thought I've been having too, I'm hoping we're wrong but I can deffinately see this lasting through the whole summer here. I don't know about other countries but there's still a lot of people here not taking this seriously.

I actually don’t see crowds in 2020. What makes you think that? When would it ever be safe for a group like that to get together with cases still out there? Unless you believe the COVID-19 is 100% eradicated there won’t be cases. It would just be square one and another outbreak. We will be lucky if they are allowed to keep doing shows

Like enough to cover all the way up to DoN 2 at least, regardless of if the event can fire or not.

I wouldn't be shocked if states started opening back up in June and things go back to normal-is in July.

I'm actually thinking it's because people won't take it serious enough. I can see 1/2 the country pretending that everything will be fine next month for the sake of the economy.

But the question remains if there are cases in the hundreds everywhere... how would we stop another massive outbreak without a vaccine ? It sucks but it’s the reality. Reading between the lines... 2020 is a write off. We may as well hope that by 2021 it’s eradicated. Until it is, we can’t resume life in any way

Once we have 1M deaths because of it and everyone knows someone who has died of it from all age groups... people won’t go out and resume normal lives. I want sports back, I want to be at work, I want my gym back and I want my old “stresses” that now seem petty back but it’s too late. We will be lucky to ever have it the way it was.

Holy crap dude you really gotta chill on all this doom and gloom, it's not helping anything and it's literally derailing every single thread you can find. You've gone from the 200'000 in two weeks that you totally misquoted (Fauci never said in two weeks time, he said total) to 1M deaths now. Spanish Flu was significantly worse and things went back to normal, life will go on, business will re-open (well, most, lots of small ones will be crippled but new ones will take their place) sports will resume, etc, etc. I get that you're stressed and worried about this, but as someone literally with a diagnosed anxiety disorder, I can be the one to say, reeelaaaaaxxxxx. Welcome to how we operate 24/7, we're just a little more experienced at shutting those irrational voices out. Vaccine's are being tested, solutions will be found, and life will go on. Will everything be identical? No probably not, but not in a bad way. People might be a little more conscious about washing their hands after using the restrooms, etc. Food safety might go up a notch, y'know, the stuff we were supposed to be doing anyways but weren't.

I’m very middle ground on this actually. I think NBA, NHL, and MLB should be playing without crowds. Yes, it was said 100K to 240K Americans in two weeks. I can link the article if you would like me to. We don’t know how this turns out. I’m simply gathering info. It may get me or you and it may not. But sure, my children will see the end of this. It ends with us defeating COVID-19 but to pretend we know what or how happens in between is foolish. Business will re-open... yeah a year from now when there’s a vaccine. I have friends on the front lines in NY. I have the right scope of this disease currently
