Ahhhh I see. Nice one. Shane Douglas should have joined the Kliq….everyone in it was huge. He would have been no different.
I'm pretty sure I said how that never happened before but I will say it here in case anyone didn't know.
After a WWE event one night, everyone went to the hotel. Shane was at the front desk and Shawn comes up to him and tugs at him and says, "pizza and beer in my room, you're invited." So Shane and Shawn had a history together, cause in 1991 Shawn, Marty, Shane and Dustin Rhodes rode together while all four were in the WWE then. So Shane went up to his room and there was Shawn, Nash, Hall, Kid and Hunter.
Shane said what he saw made his stomach turn. Them talking about ways to bury guys like Lafitte, Holly, Candido and others. Shane then left that night and wanted nothing to do with them. That is when Shane became enemy number one for the Kliq.
Remember, Dean Douglas first big win was over 123 Kid on Superstars. Next big win was over Razor at In Your House September. The Kliq was fine with Douglas, until Shane snubbed them. That's when they buried him too.
He did get some revenge on Scott Hall when the latter decided to visit backstage at an ecw show. Long story short, Shane embarrassed him verbally in front of the ecw locker room and Scott did nothing about it. Shane also once told a story on how he and Shawn had a dark match and how Shane got pissed off at Shawn for not listening to him calling the match and HBK got scared and said “take it easy Dean”.

Hall/Razor was always massively over from 1993-2002. Even when the guy was off TV for long periods of time during his WCW stint the mere mention of his name would get massive cheers.
The issue always seemed to be his alcohol problems. If it wasn’t for that he had all the skills to be a world champ. I’ve said it in the past but if he had his issues under control in 1994 I’ve always felt that he may have gotten a world title run over Diesel. Maybe not a year long reign, but he was over enough to warrant a run at the top. Just listen to the massive ovation he gets at SummerSlam 1994.

He has always been entertaining. That is what is missing in wrestling today.

Huge pops at every PPV in 1994 & 1995 man....as Hall himself says? "over like rover"

The Razor character, and later Hall, was printing money.
