AEW needs to be wary of all these releases. Don’t go trying to stack a roster where we already don’t see enough of particular guys. I think you play it smart and get specific guys that feel specific roles, you can take advantage of the situation.
I would love to see The Revival of course and Gallows and Anderson(I think they reached their peak in NJPW in terms of goals), that would cement the tag team division.
Who else would you like to see be signed and what role should they play?

I think Gallows and Anderson coming over (I've never been a fan of Gallows as a wrestler) is a possibility.
I think the guys they NEED to get are Lio Rush and EC3. Those are guys who are chomping at the bit to prove themselves and show the world how dumb WWE was for not utilizing them.

For now, just some guest appearances by all, minus EC3 and Spud(as ec3's manager), who should be picked up when this all settles...or now for the BTE back and forth between them and MJF for who is the greatest of all time.
Let the talent fill indie wrestling for a while; the world needs it. And NJPW need the boys back in the Biz Cliz. Let folks be creative and free for a while and see what genius crops up, of which I expect a lot from this group of talented folks.
And please let some of these trainers and backstagers do some teaching/seminars at AEW too. That would be fresh!

If Ruby Riott gets released I definitely think they should sign her.

Their men's roster is getting really full, I think they have to be really cautious there. EC3 and Lio would both be decent to fill a couple of spots I think they could benefit from. Sarah Logan would not be a terrible grab either. She's nothing special that I've seen, but they really need women.
Gallows and Anderson would obviously be good talent to have, but I really think they could do better going back to japan. The NJPW heavyweight tag division is really light right now. With their families at this point though I don't know if that's realistic.

I wouldn't be shocked if their backstage crew and producers were furloughed and not released. Time will tell though.

That said getting Eric Young for a backstage role similar to Jerry Lynn would be really good. I believe he was doing some stuff like that in WWE as well.

Hawkins/Ryder have a HUGE social media following, add Heath Slater, that trio needs in ASAP.
Hire Gallows/Anderson & #FTR/#TopGuys/The Revival for obvious reasons.
Leave everyone else, so far released, alone.

Hawkins/Ryder/Slater would be an interesting jobber trio.
I don't see them signing those guys though.

I think they've been pretty selective in their signings. But I don't agree with the idea that their roster is nearly full. With a second show starting and their main event stars regularly showing up on Dark, no question they can handle more talent.
But of the current released, I don't know who really fits. They could use upgrades to the women's division, but Sarah Logan isn't that fix. If Hanson is released, I'd like to see the War Raiders. But I have a feeling WWE is keeping Hanson specifically to prevent something like that. On his own, Rowan doesn't have much value to another company.
I wish him the best, but I have zero interest in seeing Ryder on any wrestling show I care to watch.

You're right, factoring that in they definitely still have room. Totally my bad. Sarah Logan is not a fix, but she is volume, and volume that has worked in TV before, so I think volume worth adding. Also, they released Rowan, not Rowe. Rusev just got axed too, I think he is one they absolutely need to snatch up. W

Rusev has been on my AEW want list from day 1. And totally agreed about needing more workers who are used to working to cameras, and added depth in the women's division. No complaints if they sign Logan, but she'd be towards the bottom of my WWE want list.

The roster is still badly lacking size, and he's shown that he can get himself over as both a face and a heel. That's the kind of worker who has value in any company. Talent is talent. And I easily see him as someone who could be a top tier talent, and obviously has mainstream appeal and recognition.

He could be huge in AEW. Also forgot about the second show. Hawkins and Ryder are probably coming in as a tag team. Probably to pimp merchandise.

I wasn't dogging him in any way, I just didn't know how he would fit in the current landscape, but that is shortsighted of me.

AEW should get Deonna Purrazzo like NOW Man, if they are making cuts in NXT, AEW could have a field day. Deonna is somebody who can elevate anyone she works with.

I'm not hoping ANYONE lose their job right now, but I have a small list of guys I secretly wish they'd cut and AEW & NJPW would scoop them up.
