Well if we're talking kayfabe, they're two completely different characters for a start. His ring work might have improved but it is nowhere near Lee's level. There are also PLENTY of other people who have better skills to just be in Lee's corner that's for sure. Lee and Harper are the same person AEW aren't like WWE where they pretend other promotions don't exist. He makes fun of McMahon every week as has hinted at his WWE past. Seeing them both together on AEW would be beyond awesome. Two guys with a 7 year history finally free from the WWE machine. It would certainly put my butt on a seat. Not only that, it could even be revealed that Rowan had been carrying a Dark Order mask in his cage for the past few months. people were finally happy to see Brodie Lee not held down by being in a tag team. you’re in the minority if you want to see Rowan join him in AEW. |

Please! PLEASE! Don't saddle Harper with Rowan again. I honestly don't see it happening, even though they're friends Lee has expressed more than once that he got tired of always getting put back with Rowan.. Not because he doesn't like him, but because it was the same crap rehashed over and over.
If I were AEW the only people I'd take from this are Rusev, Gallows and Anderson (if they're even interested), and maybe EY as an agent. EC3 is basically the same character as MJF, only bigger, and MJF is on fire. I like Spud allot, but the roster averages small as it is. They need more size. They don't need slot-fillers, they need needle movers, people who can be huge stars if given the opportunity. I think TNA is more likely to have a field day with these releases than AEW.

The VOW guys actually got me excited about the potential of bringing No Way Jose in. They brought up the match he had with Aries at a TakeOver and I totally forgot I thought the guy was really talented and a blue chipper.

Zach Ryder is friends with Cody so maybe he gets picked up. He really could and should have been a big star in wwe since he got over organically. They chanted his name during the survivor series 2011 main event!

I can see it now Spud vs Marko Stunt, or Spud and EC3 vs Marko and Luchasaurus. I hope once the biggest heel right now, Covid-19 drops the pandemic strap we can all go back to some normal living and start seeing crowds at shows and these people do what love.

I've heard from anonymous sources CoVid has some massive pull and a vocal minority that is resisting any plans of it doing the job anytime soon. That and it taking ample advantage of all the backstage chaos by playing sides against one another, brother. |

The Revival, no doubt. Deonna Purrazzo, she would be a great addition to the women’s division. Lio Rush, while I wouldn’t classify myself as Lio Rush fan necessarily I think he’s a helluva talent and I’d be interested to see what he could do there. Zack Ryder, maybe, I’m 50/50 on wanting to see him there.
The rest.. I don’t care for Rusev and EC3 at all, so I don’t want to see them. Anderson and Gallows are probably better suited to just go back to NJPW and do their thing there. Everyone else, no thanks.

I think Rusev is the best blue chipper, but if he doesn't sign with AEW or NJPW he's probably done with wrestling. I'd also add No Way Jose to the AEW wish list. I'm pretty positive he'll bounce back. The guy is charismatic and works hard. I have mixed feelings on Ryder. AEW is a place for people who have gotten themselves over at one point and would be a fun addition to things like BTE (or his own version again). It'd be kinda cool if he came in to be Cody's permanent tag partner and a guy used to get others over. I think a build to a tv AEW title shot wouldn't be out of the question. |

I think AEW would benefit most from signing Rusev, Gallows & Anderson, The Revival (I'm pretty certain that's already a given), Chris Hero, and possibly Zack Ryder and EC3.
Like others have mentioned, EC3 is basically MJF with more bulk so I'd think a character change would be needed in order to justify that signing. Zack Ryder never really did much for me to be honest, but I'm curious to see what he'd be able to accomplish without the ceiling that was put on top of him during his time in WWE.

Eric Young
- Would be a good addition to the Dark Order. Whenever they want to write Brodie out of the group, Young would be a good replacement for leader.
The Revival
- I don't even care about the Bucks 'dream' match, i just think they'd be a great team to help carry the division. I'd like to see them in NWA at some point too.
Kassius Ohno
- If he has been fully released, Chris Hero would be a MUST HAVE for the roster. He's still one of the best wrestlers on the planet, and someone that could fit in either the AEW Title, or TNT Title picture.
Plus, his mind for the business would be great for all the young talent there.
Mike Chioda
- He'd be a great addition to the ref team, with him there it'd also give Earl a lighter schedule, and another mind to help the younger refs.
Rusev
- He'd thrive over there, he'd be a good brute to toss around Marko Stunt and work in the TNT Title picture.
Deonna Purrazzo
- She's a MUST HAVE for the currently lacking Women's division. She's one of the better Women's wrestlers out there and she'd be a great champ for them.
Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder
- I don't like Ryder and i don't really care to see him in AEW, but i'd like to see Hawkins there. Hawkins would be a good hand in the lower - mid card. But since they'll likely go somewhere together as a team, they'd be good additions to the tag divion.
As for everyone else, i think they'd be better suited elsewhere in places like IMPACT, NWA, NJPW etc...
EC3 & Maverick
- They'd be good additions back in IMPACT.
Gallows/Anderson
- NJPW of course, enough said.
Heath Slater
- Could float around the indies for a while.
Erick Rowan
- I'd like to see him over in Japan, he could fill the huge foreign monster spot.

EC3 - IMPACT/ MLW - I'd be okay with EC3 going back to Impact where he really made a name for himself. He'd also be a big get for MLW.
SPUD - IMPACT / MLW - I would like to see Rockstar Spud head back to Impact with EC3 as well as in MLW with him.
EY - IMPACT- Eric Young is so talented it's a shame he'll never get the "big break" that he deserves. Been watching him since the early 2000s as part of Team Canada when TNA was awesome, innovative and fresh and had the bad ass World X Cup. HERO - AEW / NJPW - Hero is and has been one of the best wrestlers on the planet for the past 20 years. Watching him live versus Super Dragon in 2004 @ IWA Mid South for the first time ever, I was blown away. This dude, who doesn't have the "wrestler body," is ...oddly tall... with an interesting style, he was awesome. He's continued to be awesome, for years now. I knew NXT/WWE wouldn't use him. Why the F*** was he not teaming with Cesaro as the Kings of Wrestling? 
GOOD BROTHERS - NJPW/AEW- Predictable? Oh well. #HOOT. #WorstPodcastEver. Love the Good Brothers, Anderson more then Gallows in-ring due to his extensive time in NJPW where he's had some stellar singles matches. Together though, they are fun and very entertaining when not being scripted stupid stuff. AEW could use two guys who know how to work slower, to help all their young teams.
ROWEN - MLW / Indys - Not sure what kind of value there is in Rowen. Don't get me wrong, he knows how to wrestle. You can't work with the talent he's worked with for the past 5+ years and not figure out how to work. He's not the best, but he knows how to do his big man stuff. Hopefully he gives the Indy's a run and develops into something more then the character WWE has made him.
MIKE & MARIA - AEW - I know, what about Kip & Penelope? Well, what about Cody & Brandi. Sure Kip & Penelope could be overshadowed by Mike & Maria, but it's not like AEW doesn't already have another on-screen couple. So let's add a 3rd and forget about who over shadows who, or who already has that "gimmick," or "story." These two don't need to be hidden away on ROH (sorry Matt Taven).
MYERS / CARDONA / STAAAANG - AEW - If you've ever listened to the Major WF Pod (I quit, used too.. got repetitive) or watched their YouTube show "Figure It Out" you'll know that Heath Slater is a very close friend to Hawkins & Ryder. So the natural chemistry of the three, leads me to wanting them all booked together. AEW already has a bunch of Trios groups, might as well bring these real life friends who big time star power in together.
FINLAY - AEW /NJPW- Agent in AEW, join his son in NJPW for whatever fun stuff they wanna do together. His son already tweeted him about they have a spot for Finlay in NJPW, haha. AEW needs him desperately for his knowledge and ability to train women.
LIO - NWA - I know it's a stretch, but with his ability to talk and the format they use for their "TV," this dude would light the wrestling world up every time he cut a promo. Plus, NWA needs some love too.
RUSEV - NJPW / AEW- In NJPW, there's so many matchups I'm dying to see. Imagine, versus Shingo Takagi, Hirooki Goto, Minoru Suzuki, Togi Makabe, Tomohiro Ishii, Tetsuya Naito, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kazuchika Okada......... Oh yeah, also he's a big name so AEW are STUPID if they don't have the buildings chanting MIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOO DDDDDAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY when all this Corona crap hopefully ends.
FTR - NWA / AEW / NJPW / ROH - Okay, so NWA I just want to see them with those belts. ROH, hold the straps and wrestle Briscoes, please. NJPW, make your $$ #TopGuys. Now, please go to AEW, dominate their Tag Team Division, instantly, as the absolute best tag team in the world. No flips, Just fists. My god, the dichotomy. Beat Young Bucks non-title first match in. Beat random teams on Dynamites & Dark, be the team to defeat Kenny & Page (destroying The Elite) in the process.. Join up with MJF & Wardlow as a new Horsmen managed by Arn Anderson who turns on Cody further cementing the destruction of The Elite.
LOGAN - AEW - At this point, she'd be in their top 3 as far as skill, for women. She's semi-recognizable to WWE fans. It's the biggest platform for her and benefits both her and AEW.
