He was one of the few Longest tenured WWE employees who had a job for life. He actually might have been the longest. He debuted for Vince's dad in the WWWF in either 76 or 77. Now, Entering The Pearly Gates! RIP You we’re the best! I can picture him ring announcing a big legends battle royal up there. With Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan doing commentary, and Mean Gene interviewing the winner.

Been reflecting on the Fink over these 24 hours and man what a legacy he has left behind that will live forever. So many classic matches have his voice attached to em. It's always hard on us old school fans when a legend from our era passes but we can take solace in the fact we have the great memories of growing up watching these great entertain us week after week. And to top it off we can still go back and watch the archive stuff and smile at the good times.
Guys like Fink,Gorilla,Bobby,Mean Gene etc. to me will forever be the voices of wrestling.Legends who will stand the test of time.

I never knew him but I really am saddened by his death. He had a really powerful voice.

RIP to a real legend. I had the privilege of seeing him live twice. His voice was even more powerful and awesome in person.

Today would have been Howard Finkel’s 70th birthday😞 On a side note today Mick Foley turns 55.
