NECA's 18" electronic Freddie Mercury(Legendary lead singer of Queen, R.I.P) cost me $32.44 delivered, and was quite frankly worth every cent. and I'm sure most of you know how big an 18" figure is by now, but just because I took the image anyway... NECA is hit or miss, and I generally like their work, but I don't think even the biggest McFarlane fanboy can doubt the fact that NECA nailed this one. They got Mercury in his trademark stage getup, and captured his facial likeness perfectly. The colors are bold and vibrant, and he stands out in your collection(eventhough he would anyway, since he is nearly 2 feet ing tall). Freddie comes with a mic stand, and has 8 points of articulation(albeit none very useful except the neck and shoulders). He plays a medley of three hit Queen songs including "We Will Rock You", "Radio Ga-Ga" and "We Are The Champions." Sorry, no Bohemian Rhapsody... They are activated with a switch on his back that turns on and off a motion sensor. I definately recommend it to anyone looking to build, or add to a music figure collection, because its one of the nicest music figures made to date.

I meant to take a packaged photo, but I was too anxious to open it, and sorry the images are lower quality than usual... I forgot to turn the resolution on my camera up.

It's a tad innacurate, though. Its missing the giant bulge in his pants I dont think I ever saw a pic of Freddit without.

Do they make a smaller one? My dad is a big Queen fan, but i doubt he will have room for an 18 inch one.

I saw that in a comic shop yesterday. Neca did a really good job on Mercury.
I actually picked up the NECA Kurt Cobain figure last Sunday. Much more my style (no offense to Queen as they are great) as I love Nirvana, but also more my pricetag at $15. Right now he's on my fireplace mantle in between Buddy Christ and Frank the Bunny.

It's a good looking fig, but really doesn't need to be 18".

I love it, but I will probably pass. The last thing I need to start buying figures of is musicians. I collect too much as it is. I would have preferred it played Fat Bottomed Girls/Somebody to Love/We Will Rock You
