I'm watching Steve McMichael on TV right now. He just needed more training to be in the ring. I think he still fits well in the group with his look and personality. I don't know if Paul Orndorff would have ever considered being in the group.

I have never really been a fan of Paul Roma anyway. He did good with Paul Orndorff as a tag team. I'll take Steve McMichael over him as a member of the Four Horsemen. I also liked them going up against the NWO. I only liked Roma with Herc in Power and Glory

Curt Hennig would have been great in the Four Horsemen. He still probably would have joined NWO to be with his best friend Rick Rude in 1997.

Orndorff had 4H written all over him...I meant to say that above. He had credibility too....

I know i'll be an island onto myself with this thought - but I think there was untapped potential with Paul Roma; he could have been "the chosen one" under Arn's tutelage until an eventual turn. He had the look. Benoit was another great choice, but I actually think Malenko was as far from a horseman as a horseman can be.
I was never a Mongo fan, he just looked like a big old Jock. I mean the horsemen at one point had serious muscle in Sid, so Mongo just can't compare. With his Flamboyant personality he didn't need to be in this group.
The whole nWo story arc hurts me to no end. Sure they revived the company in the mid 90s and made it number one, but it also killed WCW. The nWo cannibalized itself with so many spin-off factions, nWo, B&W, lWo, oWo, Wolfpac, bWo...ugh. The story arc should have had the Horsemen coming back together at the very end with new recruits (like Avengers Endgame) to combat the nWo and finally seize back power on the last Nitro - that would have been an epic way to go out and a nod to the 20+ years of JCP.

But I agree it killed alot of wrestling in both federations. Not to mention the high we all kept getting form new turns and run ins of new characters coming to WCW, they kinda ruined the little things for us to enjoy. kinda like porn does to our brain and makes everything else not fun/exciting/enjoyable.

Barry Windham and Curt Hennig did the "Rap is crap" storyline.
